I swear a box of this stuff rarely outlasts a day in my possession, because of that I try to avoid buying it like the plague because it's so damn delicious. :D

Reviews like that just make me not trust the product. Yes, it is silly and a fun time but I want to know about the product, not read a creative writing project.

I understand that and kind of feel the same, but I just love some of the entries on that milk. There was one a couple of years ago that was a parody of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's Kubla Kahn that was brilliant. Most of the ones like that are on outrageous products. I remember one extremely overpriced ethernet cable that ended up with similar silly reviews. That one deserved it. :)

From Huntn's post:

HOW SWEET IS BREAKFAST?
THE SUGAR CONTENT OF READY TO EAT CEREALS
Total Sugar
Product Manufacturer (% dry weight)
Sugar Smacks Kellogg 56.0
Apple Jacks Kellogg 54.6
Froot Loops Kellogg 48.0
Sugar Corn Pops Kellogg 46.0

Sugar Smacks became Honey Smacks when I was eating them in the 80s, but it was still over 50% sugar. How the hell did I not develop diabetes?

Apple Jacks, Froot Loops and Corn Pops were also favorites.

"Join the movement" No, this has got to be a joke, right?
Nope, no joke. Did you ever notice the spokes person is also a pun? (Maybe unintended by Kellogg's) People call William Shatner "The ****"...

I'm not a big fan of sweet cereals in the morning in general, but I will admit every once in a while I treat myself to a box of Golden Grahams. It usually lasts a while cause I can't seem to eat it twice in consecutive days.

Weetabix x2, milk, add a few raisons. Great start to the day. :)

People who put sugar on weetabix should be shot. Seriously.

I can't believe how many people are wrong.

SNN1320V_97563a.jpg

These aren't sold in the UK anymore due to being saltier than sea water (Quaker Oat Krunchies contain 1.5g of salt in a 50g serving) however when I was in Oslo last December I found a pack in a local supermarket.

Why, I hear you ask, are they better than other cereals?

In each of the 4 states of cereal they are perfect. What are these four states you ask?

  • Dry
  • Freshly Milked
  • Normal length of time
  • Soggy

This is not a claim that the followers of many many cereals can make.

Oh those and Coco Pops, be wary though any variant or sub brand will taste horrible. For some reason they want to try and ruin the coco pops name.
