Yea I just got this BlackBook about a week ago and it seems to be a good one... no problems yet. I had to really hold myself back from getting the Air, but there is no doubt in my mind I made the right decision. Once the Air gets Penryn and a proper SSD, it'll be a beast... albeit a very skinny one, but a beast nonetheless.

Mine's close to flawless. The trackpad button creaks a little bit and it feels wierd when I open it up from sleep but other than that, perfection! I love it!

you mean the macbook pro?

I purchased my MB C2D in August 2007, my problems have been minor, few and far in between. Everyday is a great day to use a Mac!

Hijacking as the "My 12.1" PowerBook is flawless", even if the battery may explode any minute, the number one key doesn't work and it gets really hot; it all adds character :)

Have had my 1st-gen MBP since April 2006 and aside from the "whine" (which really isn't all that annoying) I've never had an issue. Ditto my previous laptop (an iBook 1.42) and my previous desktop Mac (1st-gen mini).

Mine is running great as well.. got it late last year.

Only prob is around the button to open the silver bit is coming off a little, bit gutted but apart from that great..

oh and i just upgraded to 4 GIG as it was running a tad slow now and then when i was working with alot of progs. But now is great

mbp 2.2 .. bought in oct!! its flawless...! love it! i feel people tend only to report their problems here.. cause anyone whose got nothin wrong wont post much.. except maybe answer queries ..

bought mine in december, haven't had a peep of trouble other than the odd leopard software issues.

my 2.2SR blackbook is almost flawless. it crashed once on me when i was using spaces..but other then that no problems what so ever.

My work PC is flawless too, no kernel panics, no issues.

Oh, and it has a Mac Pro feature. Dual DVI ports!

A feature that costs an Mac user upwards of A$4000!

I just bought my 2.2 SR MPB on Monday even though I knew in the back of my head they're updating them in a month or two. Well I couldn't wait a month or two and I have no regrets. It is flawless in every where. It's the most beautiful laptop I've ever used.

Up next is 4GB of RAM.

Thanks :apple:

My only hardware problem with my September 2007 Macbook is that the glossy screen picks up dirt like crazy. Easy to clean though.

The Macbook wireless dropout though, is another story. If my computer has a flaw, that is it. A reboot corrects the problem, or waiting 5+ minutes, but that's about it.

Other than that, there have been absolutely no problems.
