My iPad (I did not order an appletv) is now showing on vehicle for delivery today. I'm now wondering if I will get it today - although, again I will be out of town so it will just sit in my office waiting for me anyway.

Only thing I can think of is that I ordered through corporate sales and maybe they aren't quite as strict on the schedule as those ordered through the apple store.

Still Preparing for Shipment!

I ordered the 16gb Verizon iPad 3 the minute the store came back up on Mar 7. Still stuck in Preparing for Shipment. I finally called Apple around 6 am CST. They said there are no red flags on my order, and that it SHOULD get here tomorrow. It HAS to start the shipping process today, or I don't see how it will get here.

It is finally on the move. Status changed last night at 2000 to 'Left Fedex Origin Facility' at Mira Loma, CA. Woot!!!!

My UPS tracking page just showed an 'import scan' at 7:48, so maybe things are moving in Louisville.

Mine too I don't believe its anything to get worried about sometimes the tracking systems get out of wack at bit. Here is my full tracking info:

What cracks me up is my is that my package was in Nashville for 5 days and then only has moved to 200 miles to Memphis, TN. Well at least its moving in the right direction on its way to Dallas, TX

I wouldn't worry about it. Mine made it to Memphis too late to make the truck here but it is in the city I was expecting it to be today. It can get on the truck tonight and be at my door tomorrow morning.

Same thing here. Memphis is the FedEx hub - everything going overnight in CONUS tends to move thru there.

Well, just noticed that my Apple online status changed from "standard shipping" to Overnight.

To recap: Received "shipped status" from Apple on sunday afternoon the 11th. Have not been able to track the package - I keep getting the message "item not found". Called again today and Apple insisted they are committed to delivery on the 16th. They threw in a goodie accessory for "my trouble". But they didn't know exactly why I couldn't track my package. Sunday through today the status on the Apple site showed standard shipping. But now it reads "overnight"

So, though I can't see where it is I'm less inclined to believe it is lost. Likely they are just holding for the overnight delivery. Of course I won't be totally convinced until I have the baby in my hands

The tracking works this morning and we are shipped overnight. iPad scheduled for tomorrow and the complimentary Philips dock was also sent out yesterday and will be delivered today. I'm excited!

It moved from Harrisburg, PA to Newark, NJ. I live in Baltimore, MD.

Same here. I live in Philly area and it was in Middletown, then it went to Harrisburg, then Newark. I thought maybe because they have a hub at Newark airport, they may fly it into Philly.

Anyone have any ideas?

I have the same issue but opposite lol, mine is in Kentucky and needs to be shipped to the west coast, and the last update was at 1:12 AM when it arrived in Kentucky...

pretty much same here. my shipment via UPS was held up about 5 days till now that is appeared in KY, now i just hope they pass it quickly via customs and onto a flight to Cali and it gets on the truck to me. def looks like it got held up so it wouldn't come early.

Cool man, I hope so. The 2 lbs makes me suspicious but switching it for an AppleTV would due a pretty big screw up on Apple's part.
