The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (USA) - All Models

My Apple TV was shipped Yesterday but is on the Truck for delivery today !

Unfortunately my Apple TV which was shipped on the 12th is still in Newark NJ and still showing for tommorrow delivery, have to believe they are in a truck waiting to be overnighted for tommorrow.

Same here. Preordered Verizon iPhone 4 when it came out. I believe the launch day was Thursday and I got mine on Monday-3 days early. I'm not sure of the timeframe, but it was at least two days before launch.

It may be that no one gets these iPads early, but people shouldn't act like it's unheard of.

I'm seeing exactly the same thing...But just what the heck is an import scan?

It is being delivered to me here in the Columbus, OH area. So basically it came from 400 miles east of me, flew over me to Indy which is 168 miles west of me. I assume they are trucking it back to Columbus (which is about a 3 hour drive).

I'm in Cleveland.... Exact same thing happened. Middletown, PA and Indy are almost equally far. I don't get it, but I'm not going to complain as long as it gets here

Don't ask me. I just know that "Import Scan" is required for all US bound merchandise. It could have been because it wasn't unpacked in Alaska. Since it wasn't destined for Alaska it could continue on to CONUS without having to be scanned and would only be scanned once the pallet was broken down.
 
Hmmmm... Still not updated. :( still in Alaska. (the info hasn't changed since the 10th. ) - so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed it just isn't being updated. I'm on the East Coast - so Alaska isn't exactly close.

Who am I kidding? That will be difficult. :)

Ditto for me.. I think our packages needed to go to Indy as that may be the nearest sort facility. Middletown is probably just a warehouse? Most of my previous Apple shipments that came in from China went through Indy right before they came to the local sort facility in Cleveland. That usually seems to happen early morning on the day of delivery so I'll look for a Cleveland sort facility scan by early tomorrow AM

Same with me. I live in Philly area and saw that it left Harrisburg at 6am and arrived in Newark NJ at 8:50am.


As long as it shows "in Transit" and "On Schedule" we are good to go. It'll be out for delivery when you wake up tomorrow morning. :D

Same here but mine needs to make it to Oklahoma. I keep refreshing hoping to see "Departed - Louisville, KY". :)
 
Mine went from Pennsylvania to Indy, for an Ohio delivery. *shakes head* You practically drive right by me! :p

Don't worry, you're still not alone as I have the exact same situation here -- except I ordered a 32 GB WiFi model. I wonder what on earth they're doing.
 
Mine is in Memphis. Confident it will travel to Florida today and will be out for delivery by this time tomorrow.

I believe that KY is where the customs offices are for the shipper. Even if it shows an arrival in Ankorage, it goes through customs in KY.

Same with one of ours.. Mine left china after my wife's, but hers has been in anchorage since the 10th while mine has since made it to Kentucky. I'd call Apple to check for her... but... well... mine seems to be coming along just fine. ;)

I'm in the same boat, mine left Anchorage, Ak on 3/10 and hasn't been heard from since. Also going to the East coast. I sure hope we get an update soon!
