I'm in the same boat, mine left Anchorage, Ak on 3/10 and hasn't been heard from since. Also going to the East coast. I sure hope we get an update soon!

Yup! Sounds familiar. UPS? Hope it's updated for you also! Like a watched pot - never going to boil. I'm trying to stay away from the tracking info. Oh so difficult! Hehe

My it was HARRISBURG, PA by 3am now is on NEWARK, NJ since 6:15 and final destination is Lockport NY

Finally! My iPad left Ontario and is currently "in transit" to me!!!! Left at 11:25PM.

It is not often that I experience the anticipation I felt as a child. It's the sad reality of adulthood, and I relish these experiences now!

Some people here would think FedEx & UPS started their biz last week. For all you nervous Nellies these guys fling packages across the globe all year long for next day delivery. If you are sched for the 16th you'll get it, even if it's in China right now.

My iPad was 80 miles away in Middleton, PA. Now it's in Indianapolis. Apparently, my iPad was not confident it would go on a road trip with me, so it decided to do it on it's own.

Same with one of ours.. Mine left china after my wife's, but hers has been in anchorage since the 10th while mine has since made it to Kentucky. I'd call Apple to check for her... but... well... mine seems to be coming along just fine. ;)

lol so we have a bunch of "rogue" iPads/orders. Hmmm lol is your's UPS or FedEx?

My iPad (I did not order an appletv) is now showing on vehicle for delivery today. I'm now wondering if I will get it today - although, again I will be out of town so it will just sit in my office waiting for me anyway.

Only thing I can think of is that I ordered through corporate sales and maybe they aren't quite as strict on the schedule as those ordered through the apple store.

Ironic if the one person who gets it delivered early is not even in town to receive it.

Ordered launch day. 'Preparing for Shipment'

But I have learned that no matter what…. I will get it tomorrow.
Never fear 'Preparing for Shipment' peeps. :)

I believe that KY is where the customs offices are for the shipper. Even if it shows an arrival in Ankorage, it goes through customs in KY.

That's just plain bizarre. One would expect customs to be at the point of arrival on American soil. So anything could sit there ticking away in a box without being looked at until it's deep within US territory? Something's majorly wrong with that.

I'm sure some here are nervous, but I think the majority are just having fun.

Exactly. I'm just having fun - I am not running around freaking out. But like someone else said - it's the anticipation of it/feeling like a kid again. Silly, but it's true. *shrug*
