I was excited when I woke up this morning and saw mine arrived at Indianapolis this morning around 5. I live in Indy and work downtown which is where I'm having it delivered. Thought I might get it a day early.....Then I saw this thread and saw almost everyone in the Midwest had theirs arrive in Indy.

I have the same "shipment information sent to FedEx." Not worried though. overnight deliveries routinely happen all the time for orders placed the morning before delivery, this is normal. Overnight is overnight.

Yep, I have no doubt mine will be here tomorrow. We get a ton of packages at work from UPS and FedEx and we've yet to have a screw up. Our guys are good.

Whereabouts do you live? It may just be sitting there until they are ready to put it in transit to you.

FedEx guy was right! My iPad literally drove THROUGH my city and went 3 hours north of me, to Oakland. Just arrived there. Uncanny, lol.

That's the route that I thought it would take. Mine is on a truck traveling from Nashville to Dallas. I will see that truck when I get to work at 2 am. I will still have to wait till Friday afternoon before I get to see it, though.

I wonder that that "Shipment information sent to FedEx" notice is all about...

I noticed that mine had no destination listed until that little detail appeared on mine. (mine is coming from Nashville as well, made the same move as yours before deviating to Memphis) I'm wondering if Apple withheld info from FedEx about where the packages were supposed to be going so no accidents could happen.

Same here! Except I'm in Maryland... and it went from Middletown, PA (an hour and a half away) to Newark, NJ (three and a half hours away)... It says overnight though, so I'm confident it will be delivered tomorrow

It has to go all the way from the east coast back here to Seattle... great, and it hasn't left yet! But I'm not worried!

exactly the same for mine. But as I'm in Boston, it's at least heading in the right direction - just 4 hours away now...

ATV3 just arrived. iPad3, 32g, black, AT&T still in Ontario, CA showing delivery tomorrow by 3:00pm. FedEx driver said Boulder, CO FedEx projecting an extra 2,000 packages tomorrow. Wonder what they could be?

Same thing happened with mine -- picked up from Nashville, left for
Mount Juliet last night, now back in Nashville.

Not sure about this, but maybe iPads arrived at the respective mega facilities (located near airports in Ontario and Nashville) prior to the announcement and then were move to facilities elsewhere util ready for shipment. That would make sense or the "picked up" indicator and validate having to bring the iPads back to the sorting facilities for delivery.

I know FedEx made Memphis it's home, so I really don't understand why they were in Nashville (except that they have a major presence there as well).

I'm guessing they are (UPS/FEDEX) p!ssing themselves laughing monitoring this thread and all the 'it's moved' posts and 'it's back' post - shame on you FEDEX/UPS/OTHERCOURERHERE

yep - same 2 base fedex hubs in PA for the NY/NJ area ..
middletown, pa -> harrisburg, pa -> newark, nj
where it will probably sit until tomorrow morning .. was originally on an overnight schedule with a delivery for 3P today when it first posted, but then quickly followed by "future delivery requested" from the shipper to put it on track for tomorrow

serial number shows made in week 8 - so looks like they've probably been stockpiling at least from the end of feb/beginning of march (if not before) to deal with the launch. I'm guessing the ones shipping on the 19th are coming direct from Shen Zhen

Well that don't make sense. Your pics show weight as 2.0 lbs but my iPad shows 3.0 lbs. So I would say your getting an Apple TV!

We'll know soon enough - it has been delivered. As mentioned, I am out of town, but I'll have my assistant open the package and send some pictures when it makes it up from the mailroom to my office.
