Movement!

Finally, my iPad is moving! After 6 stays of being "Picked Up" in Middletown, PA my iPad is in "Transit", heading through Harrisburg PA and eventually to NH! Its about time.

Patience is not my virtue! 😛

Parts of Washington are considered east coast packages at FedEx. Some parts of Arizona are like that too. It's going to Memphis then Washington.
 
Mine finally went to oakland from ontario a CA, unfortunately i'm in sacramento. It's on it's way to sac town, can't wait until tomorrow. YAY 😀
 
And all is good. Mine just changed to shipped with a status of being in Ontario, California. That's about five hours away from me, so it will definitely be on time. I hope all of you who were still in processing have shipped by now! If not, they should soon.
 
Both of mine have now left Memphis.

I can't wait for the day we can track packages with GPS. 🙂

Then we can take this stalking to a new level.
 
Finally!!

After being in Ontario, CA since Monday my iPad is now at the destination sort facility in Denver, CO! Man I'm terrible at waiting for Apple products!😀

But sorry, it's very unlikely you will get it before tomorrow. All the past preorders I've gotten say "out for delivery" first thing the morning of delivery.

I'm suspecting FedEx will truck a bulk shipment from Oakland to West Sac tonight, then load them on the delivery trucks early in the morning tomorrow.

even better, they already sent it "in transit" from Oakland (but doesn't say where exactly it is headed) at 1:30PM.

What I'm wondering is, if they scan it at a FedEx facility in Sacramento, if I can just call them up and ask to come pick it up tonight (maybe make some excuse about not being available tomorrow), or if I can just show up and be more assertive by asking for my package immediately. I mean, technically *I* own it, it's my package, and if they have it right there I don't see why they can't give it to me, unless Apple has some weird legal device preventing them from releasing before March 16.

Is there any way I could get my iPad tonight assuming it is at the facility they will deliver it from tomorrow?

And yes, I'll be patient if I have to - but if I can start playing with it tonight, why not?
 
Mine is still in Southern Cali and says 'picked up' by Fedex. A little worried since it needs to get to Southern Oregon and I need to leave on the 17th. 🙁 The delivery date says '16th' so I'm holding out hope.
 
Mine left Indiana a few hours ago and is on it's way to Columbus. Thank god, I was about to stroke out for a few minutes (kidding of course.)

I did find out, though, that my tax return is supposed to be deposited tomorrow and I've decided that it's time for me to buy a Mac Mini, my first real Mac desktop. So I'm pretty excited about that.

The one thing that's going to an Apple store tomorrow to buy my new Mini! 😛

Mine is in transit from Ontario, which is 50 miles from me so I'm assuming it'll end up very close to me. I'm gonna call and give it shot once it arrives at the facility. Let me know what kind of response you get.

sidenote: Apple took the money from my account today

Our iPads are traveling together right now. Your iPad is probably going to the Sacramento Airport for the night, where it will get sorted and mixed with other freight to be sent out to the proper station. It may end up at the actual station tonight too but they will be closed so you can't pick it up tonight. After it goes to the Airport it's either going to the station in Sacramento, Rancho Cordova or Rocklin. Depending where you live in the Sacramento area.
 
My iPad has arrived in Massachusetts. Really wish I could pick it up today for my trip tomorrow. Oh well. 🙁 Something to look forward to when I come home.
