App will not even load now

the apple store app will not even load on my phone now
 
Will they stop the preorder when they sell out? Or will they keep taking orders and just move your shipping date out?
 
This could be a similar situation to the iPhone 4 launch. I ordered on apple.com, thought it didn't go through, so ordered from ATT.com. Several hours later I got a confirmation email from Apple, and ended up with a fiasco since I had two phones coming for one phone line. So all of those that entered credit card info and hit submit, just be patient and I have a feeling a lot of you will see a confirmation in your inbox later today.
 
I got through at the 800 number and was able to place an order on target for the 16th. He wouldn't promise me delivery on the 16th, but I think its quite likely given Apple's history.

Believe what you will but I've posted the confirmation email on Page 14, and while for obvious reasons I can't show you proof, on my banks website it very clearly has $760 less available credit than it did. I must have just gotten in a small window, luckily I might add.

If you select for pick-up, do you still have to wait in line? Is it reserved for you, guaranteed on launch?

Downloading now...what else am I going to do? I blew off going to the gym for this, so might as well do something to satisfy my Apple addiction!

Even though I am still grandfathered on the "unlimited" AT&T plan, which we all know now is a joke, I'm doing the Verizon thing. The 4G coverage is better across the states and in my area.
 
Got my confirmation email ....wheewww, still trying to get the second one to sell.

I called and was told they are not able to order online or the web and should be fixed shortly. I was pretty saddened when I got a real person on the phone to tell me NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

I got tired of hearing the ringing on the phone, i hung up. I'm about to grab a shower, pop in a movie and sit refreshing the app on my phone.
 
Just got put on hold at 800-my-apple. If you cannot get through, keep trying. I hope I'm not on hold all afternoon!:(
