Everything loaded super fast when I used the app but I took too long typing in stuff and the store went down before I could complete my order.
Me too. Got all my features. Added the carrier. Continued and got a white screen.
Now I'm on the refresh bandwagon.
The store was up for a short time. I got my order into my cart, but I was unable to checkout before the store went down.
I was refreshing the app on my phone every few seconds until it went live. Was able to order a 64GB Black Wi-Fi only model. It took like 10 minutes to do the entire process because each screen was loading real slow but it did go through. I got a confirmation email and I have a delivery date of 3/16

I got through too over the phone only to have them say the store isn't working now. No ******!
So sitting on hold listening to Radiohead isn't worth it?

I don't know about the preorder, but other Apple packages, that require a signature, have allowed you to pre-sign for them. In your SHIPPING confirmation email (not your order confirmation), look for a "Pre-sign for this shipment" link.
Right. They can get the streaming video of the presentation up, but not the store. Priorities, priorities.
Everyone stop freaking out, take a deep breathe, and just wait for the store to get back online. It's really not that big of a deal.

It asked me for the security code for my credit card on the iTunes account, then came to the complete order button (wording may have been different on the button). I clicked that, spinner for a few seconds and then white screen.

some people already ordered. i got to the select size and color screen then it went down.
Obviously the store is down right now, but in the past has anyone had a problem placing a pre-order through the EPP site? I've never used it for pre-orders and don't know if it's even an option. Don't want to waste time checking it later if I don't need to.
