The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (USA) - All Models

Took an hour, but got 32 white wifi and new apple tv :) Stoked! It was stuck on my phone for the longest time but I finally got far enough online to be able to complete the order

It was for at least a short time since I was able to get mine through. Plus, the Apple Preorder page advertises in-store pickup.
 
Black 64G Verizon 4g ordered

Placed order for 64G 4G verizon version, It took about 40 minutes to get through all of the steps because the site kept crashing at various steps. Finally able to complete pre order with added Apple Care.

got my 16GB Black Verizon LTE order in! conformation number from the apple site but no email yet. March 16th can't come soon enough!
 
Yes, alternative entries into the store are faster

Figure it out smart people -- if everyone else is trying to get through the front door, try the side door. Took me less than 15 minutes from start to finish -- discovered this approach after pounding the default store url for over 2 hours when ordering my iPad 1. Confirmation for 2 just arrived (about 10 minutes after they accepted the order).
 
Craziest ordering of an item in my life :eek:

Clicked place order and it waited and waited.....then crashed! Was a mystery if order actually went through. Tried several times and site just wouldn't stay up long enough.

Finally, just gave up! But lo and behold, about 20 mins later receive the order confirmation and it was placed right before it crashed originally. What a wild ride :p

So, on it's way Black 64GB LTE and a White 64GB Wifi :D
 
After trying and trying for the last 3 hours, I finally got in and placed my order.

I am now waiting for the confirmation email.

Sold my iPad 2 today so will be without until at least the 16th. :(

Getting the White 32GB AT&T.
 
So does "delivery" on the 16th mean, it won't be shipped out until the 16th or it will be delivered on the 16th. I'll be on vacation to my grandparents and I want to make sure it ships on time while I'm there or I will send it elsewhere.
 
Ordered 2, 1 for me and 1 for the gf :)

I'm glad that they did preorders so we don't have to wait in line. WIN!
 
Got mine after 2.5 hours. Originally wanted 1, but went to add to cart and 2 showed up. So I decided what the hell, I'll just sell the other one on Craigslist when I get it. :D
 
Finally got in and got it! Took many page refreshes. Any of you that's going through the process right now, if you get to an error page, just keep refreshing! It'll work one of the times! Good luck!

I've been on the "Processing" screen for about 20 minutes now... How long did that take for you guys?
 
Finally!!

Aftere three hours I was finally able to order through the apple store on my iPad first gen. Waiting for confirmation email now, but hopefully will still get on the 16th.

64Gb white, Verizon LTE.

Placed my order through my Unions EPP link a few minutes ago. It was the only store that worked. Regular, Education, and Gov't crashed on me. Got to the thank you page but haven't gotten a confirmation yet. Fingers Crossed! Good Luck Everyone.
 
hey guys when do they charge your credit card?

Today or do they charge it when it ships??
 
16GB Black AT&T LTE w/ order #, but still waiting for email confirmation. Scheduled for home delivery on the 16th.

In-store pick up was grayed out for me. So much for saving a few bucks by picking up in Delaware.
 
How long are the e-mail confirmations taking? I got an order number and stupidly didn't write it down, but no e-mail yet after about 5-10 minutes.
 
Wow! What a hassle. I tried with the iPhone, iPad, over the telephone, and on my computer all at the same time. Lot's of repeatedly pressing keys and buttons. VERY confusing! LOL! I finally got my order in around 4:30EST. Ordered the basic 16GB WiFi. Delivery is promised for the 16th. Now, I'll need to sell my iPad 2 and I know nothing about that.
