The New iPad Shipment Status Thread

Its Here, Its Here!!!! Got mine at 8:59am Central time. Im so excited, but I cant open it yet. :( Its a gift from my husband and he wants to be here when I open it. I told the ups delivery guy he was to early! LOL That now I needed to wait 8 hours to open it cuz he usually delivers around 3pm.

What a LONG Day it will be today!!

Well you already know what it is, so how is that relevant to your husband? I'd open it and say "Oops I forgot I was supposed to wait!".

I know thats what I say, but he asked me to wait. I told him what color and size I wanted. So I knew I was getting it. I said ok cuz UPS usually doesnt come til afternoon. Then I would only have 2 hours to wait. Now the box is calling my name. I have to try to keep myself busy so I dont think about it, but that sure is hard to do.

I JUST WANT TO RIP THAT BOX OPEN!!! LOL
 
My ship status not "Out for delivery"

The last shipment status for my iPad is it arrived at the local FedEx facility at 7:05 am this morning. Doesn't show "out for delivery" like I thought it should. But it still shows a delivery before 3 PM today. FedEx is the shipper.

Shouldn't it show out for delivery? Could it have not made the delivery truck for today? Or maybe they didn't scan the last status by mistake? Or they will put it on a second truck in the PM??

I'm going out of town Saturday morning through Monday night, so would like to get it now so I can take with me. Or I won't get it until Tuesday. Ugh.
