The New iPhone Looks So Ugly

Yeah, I know. I was just stating my opinion. And I think it's ugly. The iPhone 4 had a beautiful design for it's time, but I kinda wanted Apple to come up with something more creative.
I think Lexus really screwed up their cars. They had a nice-looking SUV, but now they ruined the design and made something that looks like it hit a wall. And I can't stand that weirdo car they make that's supposed to look like some kind of Fast and Furious car.
Apple can take a lesson from Lexus. Don't change just for the sake of change.
Perhaps I can convince you not to be defined by the aesthetics of your possessions and marketing semantics. It's a phone. It makes calls, sends texts and emails, and allows you to download porn while on the go. I realize Apple is overly obsessed with aesthetics, but some people are always going to like or hate the design. The important thing is how it works. Now if this is another year of "you're holding it wrong" that might be different. Otherwise the phone you already have probably accomplishes everything you could ever need as we're passed the infancy stage of smart phone apps and castrated hardware.

The choice that recieved the most votes was "amazing" means that most people think this is by far the best looking iPhone yet.

I think the design is fine, I just wish they had increased the width of the screen a little too.
As it stands I'm not that bothered about upgrading to the new phone. A longer screen has never really been as much of a concern as the width for me.

i dont think this poll is a good idea... i mean, we haven't seen even a shadow of it yet... plus, these rumors about the iPhone 5 looks are merely "others" ideas about how it looks... with that, it is not good to "judge" apple's new creation with these "close-to-baseless" pictures... why don't we just wait?

I don't find it ugly at all.
If it's what we've seen, it's an average featureless phone.
There's a complete lack of style, since it's got no curves except standard rounded corners. It's flat on the front, rear & sides. That's as featureless as it gets. That's not bad by any stretch of the imagination, just bland.
The one exception is that ultra valuable fruity logo, people will pay handsomely to be seen with it. That's a proven fact.
I voted good. I don't hate the "leaked" next gen iPhone but I'm not in love with the next possible design either.
Find me a phone that isn't flat on the front and back. You make no sense. Do you want rocket boosters on the back or something??
I voted "Average" on the next leaked iPhone design, only because it resembles the 4/4S, which I would vote as "Amazing" already. For the new iPhone to be given an "Amazing" vote, it would have to be different from the 4/4S.
Same thoughts here - the 4 was the most beautiful smartphone ever when it was released. It was revolutionary (and resolutionary). The new iPhone - if leaks are true - just doesn't WOW me like the 4 did. I'm glad I went with the S3 as I am loving it, and I don't think the next iPhone will WOW me. Anyways it'll still be a solid phone and a good addition to the iPhone lineup!

If the Iphone 4 was truly amazing, why would they radically change the design? By that logic, wouldn't it be extremely difficult (almost impossible) to top the iPhone 4 design? They could end up failing and falling flat on their face.
I think the design is good, but not amazing. I like the retro style the black one has, but I'm really not sold on the two-tone bit.
That being said, i think it is still heads and shoulders more aesthetically pleasing than the GS3. Hideous, hideous phone.
