You can make a CD image (.iso, .bin etc.) and open this with the built-in opener in Windows 10 or install something like
WinCDEmu or similar and open the image. The music will work. In most cases.
You do know that .iso (ISO9660+UDF) can't have several file systems in one image? Or audio tracks (which do not have file system), don't you?

1000 Amen's! "When I was younger I had plenty of self-built towers, but a few years back I got on the small & quiet kick like it was religion."

You do know that religion seems to breed undesirable social aspects in the world in the name of "covfefe" so be careful of context.
As Putin is quoted recently "don't worry be happy".

The new Mac Mini is almost certainly coming. :)

Run on fast SSD, USB3 or internal.
Back up on and stream from far cheaper HD.
Forget the evolutionary freak which is the "fusion" drive. It's days are numbered. (Except at Apple, which will be selling a 1TB 5krpm spinner, with a 128 GB fused SSD in 2028, on its new Mac Mini, which is almost certainly coming).
W00t, Fusion is "evolutionary freak"?
Well then, what isn't?
Are SANs that use 4 different speed storage also freaks?
Archive libraries that use automatic archiving with 6 different media?

For those, who don't care about cost-effectiveness of their storage, Fusion is "crap" and "complicated" ("OMG, my computer has TWO different memory: RAM and storage!")
But for those who do, Fusion is best that Apple has put to a mac in this decade.

Most mac users won't ever even notice the speed difference between fusion and plain ssd, let alone suffer from it.

Just bought a 2012 mini, 1TB fusion for it will cost less than $100, 1TB ssd from Apple (soldered, will brick the whole mac when it dies) costs about $1k overall! (BTO 500GB hdd -> 1TB fusion = $250, 1TB fusion -> 1TB ssd = $600)

Just wondering why is it so cool to waste ca. $900 for nothing?
Showing that you are wealthy is so much effective with cars.

Saddest thing, IMHO, is that Apple's major decisions about tech has long been to maximize profits, regardless of technological optimization.

It started with optical disks; "Rip, Mix and Burn" was a revolution that stopped, when Apple wanted users to buy their content from iTunes. ODD slot in macs can't be used as modular slot (for extra battery or storage), because of unibody and once again "complexity". Modularity would mean expandability, which is bad, so let's just solder and glue.

Fusion drive is bad, because with it, Apple can't charge 2x prices from ssd, which isn't needed anyway.
So fusion is not allowed in macbooks ever (I have fusion in my 17" mbp, another reason why my next macbook will not be as good) and Apple will kick it away from desktops as soon as possible.

Macs are overall so irrelevant to Apple now, that I don't get why they keep hinder us hobbyist and pro builders with not letting osx/macos officially out for licensing. What is that they are afraid to loose? Price-experience ratio with macs isn't in their DNA anyway...
(Anybody ever noticed how someting is or isn't "in their DNA"? And then it suddenly reaches the reality distortion field?)

Oh come on....where is the enthusiasm at today for new Macs and optimism for a new Mini?

The new Mac Mini is almost certainly coming :)

I heard the only thing Apple is announcing today is the new xMac Mini and they've only left 5-10mins to talk about the new OS X. And that's it, should be a great show ;)

No danger of me getting religion. I was using it to make the point that when you get older, things change. I am just so darn uninterested in picking up a large computer ever again. The Dell Micro 7050 is next for me. The same size as the Mac Mini, which, unfortunately, is dead :)

This may now stand as the funniest post in this entire darn thread :)

It is...but not today. Although I could be wrong but this thread will be closed by then so it won't matter!
This thread will never be closed, unless Apple announce that Mac Mini has been entirely withdrawn from their line-up. Otherwise even if a new one is released today (this will happen right after I win the lottery) a new Mac Mini will be almost certainly coming starting tomorrow.

Surely if we get a new one then that's it as we're all happy and can go home because the goal it met.

Bye, Mac mini. How many of you will wait until Fall 20177?
I reluctantly gave up on Apple to provide anything that suits my needs for less than a Pro price, and built a fully loaded PC gaming rig -- Kaby Lake i7 clocked to 4.8 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB M.2 SSD (Samsung Evo 960), GTX 1080 graphics -- for about $1700 in February. This WWDC keynote justifies my decision. Yeah, the downside is running Windows, but another way to think about it is that Apple is asking me to pay $2000+ extra to run a Mac with similar power. I'm willing to pay a "Mac tax" to run the Mac OS instead of Windows, but not nearly that much.

I love Macs. It pained me to do that, but I think I made the right choice, and that makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit. I'm also wondering if we can officially bury the Mini as a product line at this point, at least in terms of future product offerings.

16 Million registered developers... up from 13 Million a year ago. That's a huge audience for whom the Mini hits the sweet spot. Or should I say corporate blind spot.

Hey, that second drive for my EN1060 is scheduled to arrive today. I know what I'll be working on...

If they EOL mini, it's dead.
If they keep selling 2014 models, they are zombies.
If there's silent refresh, it's alive!

Can somebody tell me, why Apple hate non-AIO's?
Why would pro want to have several hundred watts cooled inside a display?
Maybe in the field, but in work room?

I'm left wondering what to do with my Late 2012 Mini server (quad 2.6 GHz i7). The graphics are a major bottleneck, otherwise it is great. I could put an SSD in it, I guess, but what else? A discrete graphics card through Thunderbolt? Not sure that's worth the investment.
