The new Mac mini is almost certainly coming

I remember buying the 2018 i5 Mini for $999 which was originally released at $1099 but was better than the i3 thing at $799. So $799 was the previously cheapest entry level Mini I believe. The M1 Mini started at $699 and M2 Mini started at $599. I think we got so used to cheap Minis that it feels like a Mike Tyson uppercut to the chin with these new prices.
