There is no such thing as “trustworthy journalism” anymore
hence the "blech"
There is no such thing as “trustworthy journalism” anymore
Except I’d wager that every article they published 6 months ago that you thought was fake at the time has now not only been proven true, but has been *admitted* to be true by whoever first said it was fake.NYT content is now 100% fake news on political topics!
They have. The same ones who are now forcing 24/7 coverage and persistent categories that can’t be deleted like election news, covid news and as of last week “racial justice” news.Maybe Apple should hire their own journalists. There’s room in the market at the moment for a nonpartisan media outlet.
I always found the quality of the NYT articles poor
Given some of the recent decisions by the NYT I won’t miss them
Isn't The New York Times one of the leaders in propagating Fake News?
Good riddance, and I can't imagine too many people will want to pay to read biased opinions & propaganda.
How about starting some real journalism, and chasing the truth, the stories that the Main Stream Media refuse to publish?
That is how you will stand out from the crowd and build your readership, but that seems to be a something from a bygone era
where the news was actually news.
After November, all these rags will be defunct. Sued into oblivion for all their fake journalism, and half of the "journalists" will be seeing criminal indictments for knowlingly promoting treason and sedition.
Get your NYT's and WaPo's while you can. You've got about 6 months left.
OMG, Luba, those phone calls to cancel are brutal. If you‘re lucky enough to find the right phone number, which is a standard, and very dastardly, trick.I like it that they (publishers) DON'T have a direct relationship will me. Besides who knows what they do with our data, too many of them require that we agree to auto-renew our subscriptions, and we have to call to cancel. That phone conversation to cancel is not easy. Then they persistently send you numerous subscription offers after you cancel. Apple may take 30% from publishers, but I think for consumers it's a better experience. Easy to cancel any type of subscription bought through Apple.
Good riddance. Apple News needs help with its interface, but getting rid of NY Times helps.
