How about penryn mac minis, perhaps that's where they're going to put all the chips they refuse to put into MBPs and the mini hasn't had an update in forever.

No way is the Mini going to have a faster processor than MBP.

It was more a shift in priorities than anything else. I had to ask myself what I used my powerbook for these last three years and guess what? I used it mainly for email, internet, and lugging around. The air was designed for that, not the mbp.

ultra pricey, but ultra durable. hdd failures will be a thing of the past with ssd technology.

To be honest, once I decided to go air, I just went for what I could afford, I got a huge tax check this year

I read an article on that some time ago, and it's so true. I am self-important, extraordinary and intellectually curious. I am a liberal and more "green" than the next guy.

I bought a MBA HDD version Feb. 8, hard drive failed Feb. 11... I know it was more than likely a very isolated incident, but still...

So, I got a 15" MBP last Wednesday Really great machine, but I'll trade it out if they are updated this week or next, before my 14 days are up.
