(Translate from Spanish to English, it's basically saying it's "confirmed" Macbooks only today, not Pros).

too many details in that article, and the timing is just right, I'm now not hopeful for the pros. How apple could redo the macbook without the pro I really don't know, who's going to buy a pro now.

now expecting the worst

Well, what can I say... It's a good idea, but why would Steve Jobs be looking at a rumour site when he knows exactly whats coming and when!?

Because Apple can even surprise S.Jobs himself! :)

And the fact that he likes to mess with OUR HEADS!!!! Bring the store back online!!! :D

When I first created this thread, I didn't imagine it would get so popular. Thanks for the contribution everyone to make the wait for our upcoming child, a bit easier.

Here I said, anxiously waiting for the store to come back up.

A lot of stores are down, that's always a good sign! Right?!

It's a brilliant sign! Last time I saw it down was during the Macworld keynote when the released the MacBook Air. I'll just be a tad p**d off if they only update a few little things like spelling errors / design problems with the website etc. Grrr lol

If there is a new MB i won't care if it goes silver, i love my white one....but if it stays white with amazing specs...it may be time to do a quick sale and get a new one, we'll see :D

I'm actually hoping for new MBPs anyway, this forum will be hell if we don't get them!

Because he can, and he knows... I would, or would I want to show every one...

I believe there are Apple staff on the threads influencing the discussions, planting information, making sure we don't go too far off track... :D

I couldnt wait anylonger, called the Apple Store to ask them why the online store down as if I dont know  to make a long story short they didnt want to confirm anything, BUT they said if it an update does come out they would call me up directly, to which I suggested emailing instead, but they were pretty aggressive on the calling bit. suggesting that indeed this is only minutes away now:D

I agree entirely!! Words of a true genius.

Quickly run through a conversion site because I can't speak Spanish:

Yesterday we brought you the rumor/news that Apple prepared an updating of the range of the MacBook (in the interior of the news). The rumor has been confirmed and Apple will present today, as does each Tuesday, the new range of the MacBook with a discreet increase of the velocity of the processor to the 2.4 GHz, 2 GB of RAM of series and hard disks of 160 and 250 GB with recorders SuperDrive. Does not it know themselves if for the moment the new units carry the Trackpad of the MacBook Air or if they add some new characteristics, besides their price. The range seems that will remain in two only units, disappearing the unit but low that now occupies the MacBook of 2 GHz, not being substituted by the unit of 2.2 Ghz current, the highest one of the range in these moments.

We carry weeks with the rumor of the arrival of the new MacBook For and seems that they do not arrive. The indications aim at that tomorrow is possible that are felt new MacBook and that the basic model be eliminated.

Apple has sent to the Apple Premium Reseller some units demo with the codes MB403Y/A and MB404Y/A. The prices of price and the code, MB instead of MA, they aim at new MacBook. We will have to wait for to see that appears in the Apple Awning. Source: Estonova

I think Mr. Jobs is watching this thread right now and just waiting to click that button to make the store go back online! Perhaos if we all log off, he'll think we're all not bothered about this update and it'll come online quicker!

Anyone with me? :D

I'm off.....

I'm on - with you ;)

I'm expecting MacBook AND MacBook Pro updates today ... Feel it in me bones

I agree, there is no way Apple could upgrade Macbooks without upgrading also the Macbook Pro. I can't think of a Macbook 2.4Ghz before a Macbook pro 2.5Ghz..

How does it feel to be the creator of such a successful thread?

I also agree with that, and look at the prices on that engadget link, they are the pricings of mbps not mbs.

Off track? Oh...we've already gone far beyond that. Have you seen some of the threads around here?
Heh heh.

It feels amazing ;) but I would feel even more amazing if a MBP was released today!

This thread will die as soon as the MBP is announced, Im guessing.

I'm happy either way, I'm going to get a MacBook at some point (probably not a pro version) so it will be good to see some updates.

However it seems unlikely to update the MacBook's and NOT the long-awaited-for-update MBP's.

Cya guys
