season 3.5

Here is a high rez image of the remaining 5 Models seen for Rapture

I just think that they are stand-ins for the glowing white light effects.

Forget that one. The rest of those photos from Sitrep are spoilerific. It looks like the season is moving faster than I expected.

Where did you get the picture from?
Again the Galactica Sitrep. Click on the episode titles to see pics. Warning some of the pics from episode 12 "Taking a Break From All Your Worries" have spoilers. Although some could be ment to be misleading.

Like the site. Try the podcast.

The Sitrep podcast is actually one of the few worth while Galactica podcast. Most are just people reviewing the episodes... poorly. This one is actual news about what the producers, writers, and actors are up to. Even if it's not Galactica related. It's pretty dry and straight forward, but gets the job done.

one week to go

Cue sappy pop music.
"This season one will die, one will realize they are a cylon, and one will find earth. It's the 9 episodes you don't want to miss on a new day and time Sundays at 10."

Okay so a death and a Cylon reveal are not that surpizing, but "One will find Earth"? So soon. There's still season 4 and the (direct to DVD) movie.

Can't wait! :D

And it will be interesting to see who finds out they are a Cylon. Baltar would be the obvious choice, so hopefully the writers will give us something more creative with more of a twist than that. This will be a big reveal as well, since now any new Cylons models we discover will be members of "the final five" who are apparently different from the others - this will open up a whole new can of worms. And as we learn more about the final five, who knows, perhaps we will want certain of BSG's heroes to be Cylons after all.. ;)

Yeah, but as I've said before in this thread and elsewhere, I honestly don't know how much longer I want BSG to go on for. I feel a show loses its edge and its potency if it carries on for too long. The ideas start drying up, the writing isn't as fresh, etc. With such a great series as BSG, although in some respects I would never want it to end ;) I have to honestly say I only hope it is around for another 2 seasons tops. I'll take Season 4 and the direct-to-DVD movie, but after that, I don't know how much more the show will have in it at least in order to remain at the high level of quality and so forth that it is at right now.

All good things...

Airing tonight ....

Within the next 30 minutes!

I cannot wait and this thread has been TOOO Silent already.
I'm quite happy and PISSED that no video site or torrent has any listings for Season 4 premier.

So does anyone else think that the symbol of the Eye of Jupiter in the Temple of Five resembles the painting Starbuck painted in her apartment when they visited it back on Caprica in the beginning of Season 2? Here are a couple screenshots I grabbed...

If so, what does this mean?

Sharp eye, indeed.

Does this mean that Starbuck's a...naaah...

Some more quick thoughts on the latest episode:

1) Boomer's gone gonzo. :(
2) Is that Caprica Six, or another model doing the "Rescue 911" bit?
3) I'm actually delighted that they appear to be done with "Life on a Cylon Basestar" for the foreseeable future.
4) Really hard trying to enjoy one of the great football playoff games in recent history when trying to channel flip between CBS and Sci-Fi. Hooray for encore airings!

EDIT:
5) Man, Dresden Files really blows. Significantly worse than Doctor Who and the two Stargates. Worst lead-in yet.

Just watched it, its late here but a few quick thoughts that maybe the "Sharons" invented a situation between them by collusion to save Hera (for the good of both races), also loved Baltar's selfishness to the end, kicking D'Anna's arm out of the way to stand in the centre of Jupiter's Eye enforced that (also D'Anna's meeting of the five and apologising for her behaviour to some "human" she had met previously?) and the way Apollo stole a glance at Starbuck at the end. The "boxing" of D'Anna was inevitable, there has always been a rumour that a Cylon model would be boxed and she (in their eyes) was the maddest (I think she will be back).

I enjoyed this episode a lot (maybe it was the break?) :)

Also good call ~Shard~ with the Eye of Jupiter/Starbuck's apartment shots, spot on.

This is puzzling me. How is the final 5 related to the 13th tribe? Does it mean the final 5 is modeled after the 13th tribe??

Haaave you seen Torchwood? It's so ridiculous I can't stop watching it.

.
I shouldn't have read that before watching the episode. Come on iTunes.
