Haven't watched either yet, am planning on doing so this weekend. So far, the 2008 offerings of Torchwood have been better on the whole than the 2008 offerings of Doctor Who (namely, the horrible Christmas Special!) :p ;) :D I know that will probably (hopefully!) change once Season 4 kicks off though - it has the potential to be a really good one from the sounds of it. I just hope they do a slightly better job with the Season Finale this year - part 2 of last year's was a little contrived, cheesy and lacking unfortunately. With the whole "bringing Rose back" thing, this year has that same potential, so let's hope RTD uses proper judgment with everything. ;)

I don't have a TV either.. and i TRY to not download as much as I can... But Because i'm in the US - Dr.Who is one of the shows i DO have to use P2P to watch most of the time. I also usually download Torchwood.

IF more shows were offered online legally.. i'd be happy to watch them that way. I use HULU and I visit all the networks who offer steaming content to watch most of my programing. If I have the extra money, I do also buy episodes via iTunes....

Don't worry about it, you can only do so much. ;) I download Doctor Who as it airs here on the CBC 6 months later, and I can't wait that long! I am currently downloading Torchwood off BBC HD as well, it's all good. :cool:
 
Actually I'm surprised that the BBC hasn't put any show up on itunes yet,
maybe they think it will impact on their DVD sales
and BBC dvd box sets are really expensive

as for P2P of BBC shows, I suppose it offsets the balance a bit with number of Lost and Heroes episodes going the other way
 
I read this earlier sounds pretty fishy
There are loads of inaccuracies in the story and Robert Carlyle rubbished the suggestion in last week's Radio Times
as for the Torchwood part why would they only commission 5 episodes of the 3 series ? BBC Wales have spent a lot of money on the Upper Boat studios they will want them in use not sitting around empty for half the year
the whole thing sounds like a made up story by somebody trying to get hits for their blog

Thanks for that, much appreciated! I had been checking various sources the last couple months for a confirmed and complete list so this is great to finally have. :)
