You certainly have the condescending troll demeanor pretty much nailed.
You could take the same stance with just about any Apple product, HDTV, Blu-ray player, etc. There will always be a forum with a vocal minority that vent their issues. I suppose there will always be a few people who put off buying for this reason too. I have spent a lot more time on home theater forums, and I've watched people agonize over this issue and that issue that people have.. and literally spend YEARS trying to buy a TV. The next one that's right around the corner will always most certainly FINALLY be the one that gets everything right. Meanwhile there's a satisfied majority that spend their free time enjoying whatever item it is that they needed instead.
