so my best guess is this is a connectivity issue with Cloudflare that just started happening. I'm hoping it'll get fixed by itself

Can confirm that macrumors does not load anymore - for a few days now..

If you change the url from https to http it will load.. - it is some problem with your security

Forum did always load - only the main page had problems...

NOW suddenly also the main page loads - with https.. - did you change anything?

I have a similar problem, but it may not be the same; when I click onto this website, the address bar shows this is where I am, but the page on the screen is still the previous website. If I click on MacRumors again, then it will take me here...

Its getting worse. I get usually no page at all, sometimes I get no pictures. I'm on a mac m4 sonoma, latest udpate.
The issue is also to forums.mac.
I suspect could be a connectivity problem because I get no errors or contenct at all. The connection is dropped, and when it works, it keep working until the keepalive timeout is gone.

Been okay for me since last night. It's somewhat random, so I can't say for sure. However, it seems to be a lot more reliable to load on first request now.

If anyone googles this later we turned off HTTP/3 QUIC support on Cloudflare as apparently Safari can choke on that.
