The rMPB BTO Shipping Thread

No love from Fedex

To everyone waiting for FedEx to arrive earlier, don't hold your breath. FedEx provides a minimum guaranteed service. If your delivery is slated for Tuesday, expect it then, not at any point sooner. Your new rMPB could be next door to you, but if Apple pays for 3 day service, it will take a minimum of 3 days to get to you.

My rMBP has been in PDX since Saturday, with delivery by 10:30am Tuesday. I don't expect FedEx to make it happen tomorrow in any way, shape or form.

I hope this isn't true as my order is literally 40 miles away at the moment... Just arrived from Memphis to Oakland, CA with delivery to San Jose about two hours ago. FedEx tracking info still says estimated delivery on Thursday. Weird

Ugh, only a state away! and no more movement the rest of the day w/ a projected deliv. date of Tuesday. I already put it in my head it'd be here tomorrow :mad: :D
it technically could be, if it moved around 6 to NY and it hasn't updated yet :p

Three days early would be an awesome surprise, I'll admit. But considering that there's a customs delay, I'm thinking it'll come on the 30th as promised.

I'm in the same spot. Mine is showing in Oakland right now but to be delivered by Weds, EOD. I'm in San Francisco.

That's true but this is the service they are using:

"Delivery Times
Delivery typically in 1 to 3 business days, next business day to the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean from most countries. Reach major cities in Europe by 10:30 am typically in two business days.

Mine landed in London last night and has already left the airport. My estimated delivery date is still wednesday but I have a feeling I may get it a day early as it's only 50 miles away from me :p

Whhhhhaaat?! I'm in San Jose too but my package is stuck in Memphis because of that clearance delay =(

I can't believe your case, we have almost equal tracking info until the arrival in Cologne. My tracking still shows the departure scan from Dubai yesterday at 19:40. And since then - nothing. No import scan or arrival scan at Cologne. Like it didn't fit in the plane, and it's waiting for the next one.
 
Yay, my delivery was scheduled for Wednesday, but it's out for delivery right now! It went from Cologne to a city nearby me (in The Netherlands) overnight, and is on the truck (or van or whatevs) as we speak :D
 
Mine (2,6/750m/16/512) just shipped. Ordered after the keynote, heading to Germany, estimated delivery on the 31st.

-1tb SSD
Says it should arrive November 5th.
