I have no idea what this even means. Does anybody else know?
I saw the rest of the thread and updated my post accordingly.Yes. There are multiple posts about the situations in the past 30 or so postings.
Unfortunately mine is also having clearance issues. I called Apple as well and they told me that it's possible Apple could deny clearance, but more than likely will not unless they feel the units are or could be damaged. If they are denied they will re-ship with expedited shipping. Ugh come on APPLE!!!
China - South Korea - Kazakhstan - Germany
That's where my macbook has been so far. World tour before spending the rest of its life mostly sitting in my living room![]()
Mine's been sitting in Boston since early Saturday morning. Called Fedex and they said that the package is sitting inside a container than can only be opened after Monday.
Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow morning.

Thanks, if my order says estimate delivery between the 31st October (Thusday) and the 4th November (Monday)... If I'm lucky I'll get it for the weekend and I'll be able to set it up for work! All of mine in the past have come from China. I think they are manufactured in China. In the US, it has been my experience, that they usually arrive a little earlier than the estimated delivery date, but I don't know about London.
After or on Monday?

WTH!!! Do these people not realize I've been waiting since ****** February!?!? Honestly, if this does not get delivered by Wednesday, I'm going to be pissed because that means I'll have to wait an extra week.
Calm down
Apparently mine is being help up in Tennessee as well.

How much is this going to affect the delivery date?
Like I wrote about 4 posts up, customs has to contact Apple to get the clarification needed. Which means, customs has to be open to make the call and Apple has to be open to receive it. So I'm assuming this shipment is overnighting, at least, in Memphis...
The 2:00 thing in Japan is because the flight left at 2:00PM and then flew west, so it landed prior to departing. It actually landed and got held up in customs before it even left. If only Apple's paper-pushers were as industrious.
Mine has been dormant in Shanghai since late Friday. They must have some crazy plans to have it delivered to me in Pennsylvania by Wednesday.
Same, mine has been sitting in Shanghai since 1 AM saturday morning. havent seen any update at all in nearly 36 hours, and i dont think its on a plane yet.
