Are there still problems with LG displays? How do I test if I have one?

Tried ioreg -lw0 | grep "EDID" | sed "/[^<]*</s///" | xxd -p -r | strings -6 but it just returns "Color LCD" (think it's because of Iris Pro).

ColorSync shows the following info:

Manufacturer: 00000610
Model: 0000A019

I called Apple. The person I talked to said that these things usually clear the same day, but I don't know if she actually knew that or if she was giving me a standard line when items are held up in customs.

Flight from Cologne to Stansted should be UPS236 and in the last week it left between 12pm and 03am. But I dunno how much the history provided by Flightradar25 is accurate so take this with a pinch of salt. If you macbook takes this flight it should be processed in UK this nigh and delivery tomorrow is possible.

EDIT: refreshed just as ups updated! Got a departure scan finally! Delivery switched back to today.. Not sure how though considering its 6+ hours away from me and I'm 99% sure it's making its way here by truck..

Same here, mine left at 8:24 and still says delivery today. Mount Hope is a little over an hour from me, but it still isn't on a delivery truck.

I'm seeing the same thing on mine. I called Apple and the rep seemed to give me just the normal line of "it'll be cleared in 24 to 48 hours". I tried to explain that it says Apple needs to provide FedEx the part number and he simply insisted on giving *me* the part number. I'm guessing someone miss-entered one or more of the BTO SKU's and we're probably the first units to arrive with this config.

I got the 15" 2.3/16GB/1TB w/ discrete graphics.

Mine is also delayed with same configuration (15" 2.3/16GB/1TB) but with Intel Iris Pro Graphics and
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750Mwith 2GB GDDR5 memory. Looks like someone goofed by not adding the part number to the database.

Does everyone with this issue have the same config?

If it doesn't clear in a few hours I'm going to call again and see if I can get someone to actually look at the issue.

Yep, Flightradar24 works fine. It only lost tracking over continental China because there are no ground receivers there.
I foresee the flight will be invisible over Kazakistan after leaving Almaty but then we will find it again over Russia/Poland.

Thanks, that's really helpful - was wondering why I couldn't see it on Flightradar. My MBP is on the same plane and I'm really enjoying geekily tracking it around the globe.

My shipment has just cleared its hold and is moving now.
 
My delivery got bumped up. It was sitting in Memphis as of last night, and got a departure scan from Memphis at 3:41AM this morning. But the kicker is, the destination scan at Kansas City came at 4:50AM.

Google Maps says that's a good 7 hour drive, and a 2 hour flight. I can always count on FedEx to bend the laws of time and space. ;)

Originally scheduled for delivery 10/30, but it's on the vehicle for delivery today. :D
 
Question : Do you guys know if we miss the package during the day we can ask UPS to hold it at the shop and pick it up before it closes the same day? I know Purolator does this, but not sure about UPS.

nevermind...it cleared and is now on it's way! I hope I still get it tomorrow

You should be able to? When I track my shipment on FedEx it gives me an option to "hold package at fedex location"
 
The only bad thing about in store pickup is that there's no tracking available for me. Only says "shipped to store." Now I sit and wait for the pickup text
 
Really surprised to check that mine is now apparently out for delivery. It left the Main UPS depot at 05:10am. Arrived at local depot at 09:18am and was dispatched at 09:35am for delivery. :eek:
