I have a 7+ and 8+ next to me with the same case and screen shield. There is no “sheer” weight difference unless you’re the size of Ant-Man.

It’s basically the same in my hands. Yes my Samsung S8+ is lighter. I state that as a fact, not as a problem.

im so glad that there are some readers who agree with me.

those that don't can continue on thinking they are elites at apple with their smug sense of self satisfaction.

samsung has made a phone that is a BETTER screen, THINNER and LIGHTER phone with a GINORMOUS battery.

But you buy apple cuz of its 'premium feel' LOL, go home! this is absurd its making me LOL IRL.

Next....

But you are myopic enough where you're not seeing both sides to everybody's viewpoints. You're comparing a Samsung device that you find superior, which is perfectly fine. But in real world experience, most consumers are not going to be complaining about the iPhone weight, except for those who are on a tech site to dissect every little feature about an iPhone and have to discuss it.

funny you say that. i personally felt the 6S+ was hefty when i got it but what could i do. it was the device i wanted.
still, anyone who held it said: jesus what a brick. not complaining does not mean lighter wight wouldn't have been most welcomed.

At first, the iPhone Plus is a larger iPhone to hold and it is significantly heavier over smaller iPhones. But I think if someone's been using the iPhone Plus for long enough, you adjust to the weight where you don't notice it anymore. It's primarily about adaptation.

I agree with what you say. STILL i feel the weight even now, and it doesn't mean i don't wanna expect apple to make 'em lighter ;)

this is again, NOT what i meant. a phone should be advanced enough to FIRST have a great battery, and only then, be as light as possible. thought i was clear on that.

No you weren’t clear at all in your OP as all I got from it was how phones should be as thin as possible.

We are debating grams here?

My Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is 195g and my iPhone 8+ is 202g. Forgive me if I fail to understand this debate. If one desires a lighter mobile try the iPhone SE (113g) etc? The bigger the mobile the more it will weigh but more than that is we are sincerely debating a few grams? The mind boggles.

If one truly considers those grams as weight then be positive and think of it as part of ones keep fit regime! :D

I know Android owners moan but I didn't expect to find this sort of debate on an apple forum?

Again....grams...really.o_O

Behave yourselves. Ryland :)

Well really......Same theme has been running for years. We want small, big, thin, large, round, square, big batteries, big screens in small devices..ad nauseam. Its just impossible to satisfy even a tiny % of buyers.

A few grams? Same bewildering posts on Samsung forums regarding the Galaxy 6+ and the Note 8 vis 195g V 173g, a whooping mind blowing 20tons, I mean Grams. Some owners need a real problem in their lives to appreciate what we have.
Can you imagine the physique of some of these people? I guess if they feel the mobile is heavy use it as a weapon of self defence when they are attacked for their milk and cookies money? ;)

Ryland :)
