I'm split.
I really like the 4.7" screen but the Plus has those extra features that make me want it. I don't know, really.

My only concern with the iPhone 6+ is exercising with it. I had a note 2/3 for a bit and running was definitely awkward. I've since downgraded to a Moto X and while I love the size of it, I'm still torn. :(

Walking with the 6 Plus is the equivalent of running with a Moto X.

Dang, the size of it, get two and use them as dumbbells.

I hate that they make us pick between devices based on something other than screensize... They could have given the 4.7 a sweet battery upgrade, 1080p display and ois... But I think I will forgo the superior features of 5.5 for the portability of the 4.7 128gb... After all I just got a retina mini ;)

The 5.5" has the 1080P display, bigger battery and OIS so that's what I'm getting. I also have an iPad Mini Retina which I'll be selling after I get the 6 Plus.

Having an iPad mini that I use frequently and take to work everyday, the decision's a bit clearer for me...6+. Sold the 5s, will sell the mini to make this pretty much free for me. I'm still leery of using such a large phone to talk on, but we'll see how it goes.

How much bigger is the iPhone 6+ going to be than the current Note 3?

I think the size of the Note 3 is too big for a phone. But I think the GS5 is just the right size.

This is one area where I think they blew it with the Watch. Why no gps? There are times where I'd love to run, bike, ski, etc with the watch sans phone. With that kind of Watch ability, the bigger iPhone 6+ is a better "fit."

i'm having the same problem... i kinda want the plus but i printed out the phones shapes and the plus is just freakin huge! i don`t think i could fit that in most of my pockets and i don't feel like i wouldn`t be able to text one-handed... so i guess i'm just gonna go with the 6

Exactly. I just printed out the template and made some cardboard cutouts. The 6+ is just too big for me.

I'm really, really, really tempted by the battery life so I think I'm gonna have to go check it out in-store.

i think the battery life is what makes plus

my head is still in a tizzy

want a watch now!

can't wait to start tracking the iPhones from china, had a blast figuring out what flights they were on and the alaskan air traffic control!! is that thread set up yet?

I had already made up my mind before the launch that I wouldn't go larger than a 4.7" iPhone.

Nothing I have seen or heard today has changed my mind on that.

6 all the ay for me.

I'd think most people would want to hold them. I know I would. That may make it difficult to pre-order on the 12th...

I wonder when they'll be in the stores.

I think this strategy was risky for Apple, and I applaud them for going with it. It might result in large sales for the 5.5".

However the risk lies in the fact that there would be many like me, who are considering not upgrading from a 5 or 5S, because:

a) the 5.5" has the features I want, but is too big

b) next to the 5.5", the 4.7" doesn't seem like much of an upgrade, considering the price ($1000 AUD+)

If the 4.7 had the features of the 5.5, it would be a no-brainer.

this is a really great point.......

BUT could you really wait and watch all your friends pay with their iPhone's while yours just sat in your pocket with a silent tear......

I want the features of the Plus but the size and price are probably not worth it since I'm buying out of contract this year.

good for you! quick + decisive!

i'm thinking i will go for 6 plus and if i find it too big, exchange for the "little guy"

I was undecided until a few minutes ago: I have determined that the features that are only available in iPhone Plus, and the larger screen, are compelling enough reasons for me to go with the Plus.

Even though the Plus is larger, I can afford to leave my iPad Air at home for those times when I need a much lighter setup for work or play which is a win/win situation for me. Of course, YMMV.
