just be sure to print it out the size and it doesn't get scaled down or something

Prior to todays announcement, I swore I'd get the 4.7 and that 5.5 was too big. After the keynote and seeing the hands-on videos, the 5.5 became mighty tempting. However after printing out this document, I am 100% back to wanting the 4.7. I can fully understand why many will enjoy the larger phone, but for me 4.7 is perfect. Its big without being too big. I have large hands so the phone can almost be 100% used with one hand, though admittedly its a bit more difficult.

If I buy a iPhone 6 Plus, would I be able to exchange it for an iPhone 6 if I wanted to at the store anytime? I guess my question is, do they keep a small stock of iPhones that they won't sell for exchange purposes? Or will they be sold out and I won't be able to exchange for a month or so?

now it may be in my head but wouldn't the 6 Plus screen size require more battery, obviously when it's in use? do i have a good theory or again, is it in my head?

as of now and when the rumors were being swirled, i stuck with the 4.7 (iPhone 6) and i think i'm sticking with it. I would love the better display but not the size of the phone itself.

as long as they have stock, i think you would also need to pay the re-stocking fee.

I have the iPhone 4S. I'm wondering if I should go with the 5S or 6/6+. I'm pretty sure that iOS 8 will be slow on the 4S so I definitely want to upgrade. Any other 4S users looking to upgrade?

I had a Note 2 and liked the size. Yeah its big, but its not like the iPhone5 is tiny -- it's still something you have to carry around. The reason I sold the Note 2 is b/c it starting crapping out, and Android started weirding out on me (too many apps that didn't work with this phone, but worked with that phone, didn't work with cupcake, but worked with Reeses Cup (I'm making this up, but you get the idea).

Anyway, I'm going for the 6plus. It's larger but much more useful to me. I already have my iPad on eBay. I rarely use it as it is, now I'll NEVER use it.

Plus the plus look like the battery life will be awesome.

My concern is that they likely won't have stock. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if Apple Stores tend to hold back a few units for exchanges?

How much bigger is the iPhone 6+ going to be than the current Note 3?

I think the size of the Note 3 is too big for a phone. But I think the GS5 is just the right size.

Coincidentally I went to a cell phone shop today to check out the sizes of the Galaxy phones and came to the exact same conclusion. The GS5 with its 5.1" screen was the absolute largest I would go (and even then I thought it was slightly too big) while the Note felt like a tablet instead of a cell phone.

I think this strategy was risky for Apple, and I applaud them for going with it. It might result in large sales for the 5.5".

However the risk lies in the fact that there would be many like me, who are considering not upgrading from a 5 or 5S, because:

a) the 5.5" has the features I want, but is too big

b) next to the 5.5", the 4.7" doesn't seem like much of an upgrade, considering the price ($1000 AUD+)

If the 4.7 had the features of the 5.5, it would be a no-brainer.

I agree, unfortunately sometimes we can't get it all... and we have kinda already been there for years with our small screen sized iPhones compared to the competition. IMO it all comes down to how you use your phone. For people who use cell phones almost as tablets or computers with lots of web browsing or watching videos the larger size of the 6+ (and better specs) make sense. For someone like me who uses their cell phone 95% with 1 hand: mostly streaming pandora while walking or at the gym; the extra bulk of the 6+ destroys the usability. As much as I like the improved specs it just isn't worth the sacrifice in mobility.

My only concern with the iPhone 6+ is exercising with it. I had a note 2/3 for a bit and running was definitely awkward. I've since downgraded to a Moto X and while I love the size of it, I'm still torn. :(

i never run with my phone in my pocket i wouldn't do that. weights i always have it in my pocket though but i do have a belt strap that will fit phones this size. U should look into getting one of those. Also some bluetooth headphones ;)

iPhone 6. Just look at cutouts online. iPhone 6 plus is a massive brick that would be a pain in the ass to carry around, just to say I have a bigger screen? No thanks.

I never ran with my note 2 in my pocket. Even using armband for a phone that large just feels off.

Will be getting the iPhone 6. Bigger screen, more pixels, and OIS does not interest me. Already ordered Spigen's tempered glass screen protector as well as their hard case.

6 plus is the flagship iphone has extra features but not worth carrying around in the pocket. I can see thousands queuing to replace them for the iphone 6. :)

I am on the same boat. I run with my iPhone 5 and putting the 6+ in an armband might be too much.

As I see it, the 6 feels excessively big while the 6+ doesn't. Sounds ridiculous but here me out. The difference is the 6+ takes advantage of the added real estate. As this video demonstrates and was briefly touched upon in the keynote, the 6+ has special landscape modes for different apps that mimic the iPad experience and also show more information on one screen. The 6's extra screen space is kind of just there with stretched-out apps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfNeEsTeKvw

With all that being said, though, I'm still desperately on the fence.

I'm in the exact same boat. I know I'm getting one of the 6 models, but haven't decided which one.

If you want to get a grip on how big each are. Go to your nearest cell retailer and pick up a Galaxy S5. That is how big the iphone 6 will be about. A little bit shorter by a few mm. And a few mm wider the galaxy S5 is than the iphone 6. Put a case on it and it will be about that big.

Now the iphone 6 Plus is a little taller than a note and about as wide. ;)

I never would have thought this would be a debate for me, but I am now seriously considering the 5.5" I could get rid of my iPad mini and iPhone 5 and replace it with that one device which would make it awesome and cost effective. I just don't know how I would like carrying around such a large device all the time.

ugh... decisions

Thanks for that link.

After calibrating to my 4S, yowsas! I was leaning 6 rather than 6+ and this confirmed it. The big screen is nice (as is OIS), but so is fitting it in my pocket, etc.

So, 64GB 6 for me.

Same here.

Whats funny women have no problem with the larger screens because they have purses!
If you are a guy where are you going to put it. I have to have a side holster because I wear a suit for work. The 5.5 would never fit.

128gb 6 for me.
