The Simpson Movie, Only One Week Away!

From all the trailers that I've seen and the nifty little events (Kiwk-E-Mart 7-11's, I'm getting pretty hyped for it. I'm not a big movie person, but I love the Simpsons. A few seasons back they kind of hit a slump but the last couple haven't been too bad. Me and my friends have been talking about a Simpsons movie for so long and now it's finally happening, it's crazy :D

Maybe I'm hyping it up in my mind a little too much, but it's hard not too when it's one of your favorite shows of all time. There is a possibility of having it suck but we'll see. I'm hoping to see a midnight release in my area, but I haven't found one yet.

Definitely looking forward to it. I can't believe it took so long for it to be made into a movie.

Yeah definitely gonna see it, Homer will be so much fatter on bigscreen.
 
Not going to see it. Caught a trailer for it before Die Hard 4, but it just didn't get me like it used to. Futurama took over the void for me when Simpsons went poor and I just can't look back now :eek:

One for DVD for me.

I would say that happened to me too, when I started watching Adult Swim religiously and they would always have it on. But still, it's the Simpsons, nothing will replace the many many classic episodes when I was a child, and they're still awesome.

I'm hearing some time in 2008 if I remember correctly. They're going to be aired on Comedy Central. It's basically a movie but they also made them into episodes so they can play them on TV. I can't wait for that either.

I love the Simpsons, alongside Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad, South Park. Watch at least 1 episode of each every day. (Guess I have no life :D )
 
Family Guy I can stomach, the rest seem rotten now. Though the Family Guy film (was it an actual film? I saw it at a friends a while ago) was the most naff piece of Family Guy I've seen.

Futurama... last I heard they were rounding up the voice actors.
 
Has there been a single funny Simpsons episode in the last 6-8 years?!? :confused:

They've just started showing all the Simpsons episodes from the very beginning on Channel 4 here in the UK. It just reminds me from what a great height its fallen from in recent years :(

That's okay...last weekend I watched the first three seasons of Family Guy, back to back...not sure how many times I've watched those now, but it's a lot.
 
I've been waiting for this movie since 2004...my history teacher told us about it, and I remember thinking "2007, that will NEVER come"

Yea I don't they'll do widescreen, that doesn't make much sense.

I just found out that there's a midnight release at my theatre, it's goin to be awesome. :D
