No one groaned in my audience. My audience was crazy. Mostly male teens and 20's. My friends said when he went it was pretty crazy too. Simpsons has got such a crazy followers :D

Yeah, our audience too. We caught the third showing of the day at 7:15, so it was teens with dates galore. There were plenty of laughs, but there were some disgusted groans at that part. :)

On a side note, the teen sitting next to me in the movie had an iPhone, and I couldn't help but stare. :)

I loved the first bit of the movie and I was hosing myself to stares from onlookers but what teh hell, I enjoyed that bit. Then the story line came into play and things kinda fell away.

Can anybody tell me if there were any other post-credit clips after the bit with the Simpsons leaving the cinema after Homer complained that all the people who made the fil'ms names should be memorised. It's quite awkward, just before that bit my brothers were insistant on leaving by strangely I took Homer's views on the subject and tried to tell them to stay. Sadly though a 2:1 consensus forced us to leave after that little section.

I guess the movie was very detailed in terms of the jokes and puns, much like an extended episode- with rude gestures.

"He's not Spider-Pig anymore, he's Harry Plopper."

"I like men now. "

"For once the rich, white man is in control. "

watched it yesterday and it was totally great compared to some younger episodes with not so nice writing

in the german dubbed version they gave the president such a great voice that thsoe scenes nearly made the movie

thinking about it there were simply too many great scenes.. we came out of the movie and said simultaneously "i could watch it again right now"

i'm going to get the dvd for sure

I saw it last night, and have to say I was disappointed. All the good bits we're in the trailers - nothing else had me laughing.

Don't get me wrong, it's worth watching - but it's not a movie I would buy on dvd.

Really? I plan on buying the DVD as soon as it comes out. But I think the trailers were overplayed, because almost no one laughed at those parts. Everything else was hilarious.

Ive heard nothing but good things about this movie from all my friends that went this weekend.

Im hoping to go sometime this week.

Definitely my favorite part.

It was a good part, but I saw the trailer so many times, I didn't laugh that hard at it. Marge's face while he sings it is priceless o_o :D

I'm itchin to go see it again, there were so many funny parts. :D

EPA!

I was a bit worried that it would be a let down, but it was pretty good. Loved the spider pig bit. I can definitely see a sequel coming.

What did everyone think of the 3D-ness for want of a better term.

On a side note, don't go up an escalator when there is no room to get off at the top.

I thought it was awesome, nice to see it on the big screen, a great change from the lackluster of TV animation. They had shots like a realistic film would have, or like anime. Made the movie that much better.

What?

Yeah me too, I'm gonna see it with a friend very soon. I absolutely loved it. best movie ever, imo. A quote from the move in my sig (or what I remember from it)

I saw it earlier today, and I loved it. :D Easily the most I have laughed in a cinema for a long time, and it seems the rest of the audience were the same.
I hope they make a sequel.

Also, I got in a bit late, so the first bit I saw was when homer was saying everyone in the audience was a sucker for paying to see the film. Did I miss much?

No, just the little itchy and scratchy cartoon that wasnt really all that funny.

"Can he swing from a web? No he can't cos he's a pig" lol

"Code black! Black's the worst colour! No offence Carl ..." Haha, I laughed out loud at that.

Took the kids to see it at the weekend. I enjoyed it, although I did fall asleep for a few minutes about halfway through (this is normal behaviour for me at the cinema!)

Went with a friend last night to see this; I thought it was very funny. The Bart skateboarding scene was brilliant... up till the end anyway. ooops!
