The Site is running very slow right now.

Is this possibly a geo-location thing?

I am UK-based, and I have had very noticeable problems for the last 24 hrs, so I just asked another site user who is based in Germany about it, and they said they have had no problems at all - and I know they have been posting.

As additional info, as a test I have just been trying accessing the site from a different UK location and provider, via OpenVPN to my office! Initially I thought the result was better, but I have just now seen the same slow site problems when accessed from my office (BT business cable provision in Office, Sky home cable provision at home).

So it does not seem to be provider specific - but might well be geo-location specific?

I too am in the UK and the past few days I am constantly getting messages like this.

FWIW, I am in the UK and don't seem to be having any issues.

Scratch that. I am seeing it.

Interesting.
It just took me 15 seconds to get my notifications up after clicking on the bell icon.
And then it took another 10 seconds for your post to populate the reply box after I quoted it :)
God knows how long it will take to post this message!

Seems to be in and out for me at the very least.

Have not only been getting problems on mobile - but am on mobile now (and still occasionally getting them).
