The SS Apple Watch Leather Loop update thread

Next I asked about band exchanges in store. I ordered a Large loop because my wrist is exactly 180 mm. After seeing some of the reviews and try ons I am afraid I should have went with a medium. The apple rep said there will absolutely be inshore band exchanges within 14 days of receiving the apple watch....

I didn't order my watch with the leather loop- ordered that separately(June delivery time frame) so when I had my try on appointment I tried the medium size since my wrist circumference is 185mm.

The medium was fine for me. There's enough overlap that it still felt secure. You might be fine either way.

Glad I went Milanese, enjoying my watch already.
 
I've just seen an Apple Watch in the flesh, and it's even better looking than I had hoped. It's a beautiful little thing.

Probably doesn't help any of us, other than it will be worth the wait. :)

You aren't going to see until sometime in June when they have finished with all other orders. I posted earlier, that I think the leather loop and link and punk bands ( those not moving) were done this way to shunt orders off into order never land. I ordered a 42mm with black loser loop on the 11th. Talked to a supervisor yesterday and expressed my frustration and opinion. This morning I received a electronic gift card from Apple. How ridiculous and pitiful. They need to just fill every order, not just a select few. I did get my 38mm with Millinese loop on the 24th but having been told in here how horrible it looks on me, I wanted to see how the 42mm would look and no, I can't go to a store to look at one as I don't live within a convient distance. Also no car.

They gave you a gift card?? For how much?
 
84.14, doesn't really make up for no activity on the Leather Loop orders. Or as I now call them, Loser Leather Loops. Because anyone with an order has lost out and we all sit and watch people who recently placed orders are zipping through the processing and shipping lines.

I read your thread where you asked for advice. I did have to stop reading after a few pages because people were giving you advice that you asked for, and all you did was say how people were harassing you and saying bad things about you. That in no way happened! People, very politely said they recommend you go with a larger band and most likely the larger watch. I am a big person myself and in no way did I see anyone say anything negative, other than you.

You wanted advice, you got kind advice. I do admit, I stopped reading after a few pages because people gave kind advice and all you did was accuse people of saying you are fat.... did not happen.

Others can read for themselves. It is very clear you are not going to be happy with anything, said by anyone here. So I give up, and hope others do too. I think this lady is just looking for attention, and/or a means to vent.

Anyone? Anyone??? Where are our watches?

WHY did I (we) have to pick the band that gets this treatment, you ask? I will tell you why:

Having smaller wrists, I am constantly going through the "this isn't the correct fit" on any regular watch band. With the leather loop, I finally found a band that was ULTRA comfortable, and was ULTRA adjustable - just what I needed.

Who would have know then (order placed 12:05 A.M.) that we would be pushed to the back of the line. Sigh.

42mm SS Black LL. No charge. No update. Nothing.

Anyway, here's to hoping for some movement today! Best of luck to all!

Sorry you feel that way about me, but you should also know the mods felt people had been excessively rude to me and deleted them. I only posted here in this thread as the 42mm I ordered has the leather loop which is not shipping at all. So there you have it and stop slamming me.

I for one think we'll see movement this week. I'd be surprised if some of us don't have our watches by Friday. I just can't see production of these bands taking that long, and you'd have to think Apple is leaning heavy on those tanneries that received so much publicity by supplying bands.

I dont understand why apple gave you a gift card?

Also, Loser Leather Loops? Lets try and keep it appropriate. I was one of the people who stuck up for you in the other thread because people WERE being rude to you and the comments were deleted by the Mod as they should have been.

However, you already received a watch, and now you are mad because you haven't received a second watch from apple after they apparently gave you a refund? Something doesn't add up...

I keep checking these posts hoping to get info on the progress of orders being fulfilled AS APPLE HAS PROMISED. When I ordered my leather loop at 3:02 on the 10th he shipping estimate was 4-6 weeks. If i get it sooner than that I will be happy. Lets try and be realistic about what we expect, after all this is a watch. Ive said it before.. people all over the world are starving and waiting for food.. I can wait for my 1st world watch to come for months and no harm will come to me or anyone else..

that being said...patiently waiting for a nice TOY courtesy of :apple:

Excited to see the first Leather Loops are shipping thread/post.

So, you ordered a watch from Apple, that stated delivery in 4-6 weeks.

3 weeks later, you get in touch to complain, even though it hasn't been 4 weeks yet, let alone 6. And then Apple give you $84.14 credit, and you still aren't happy?

$84.14 seems like an odd number.

And, looking at the other thread you already have an Apple watch, and this is going to be your second one?

Absolutely mental, you have no reason to complain.

I don't know why I was sent the gift card, but I do think it is sad that people who ordered this configuration on the 10th have not had theirs shipped yet. I ordered mine on the 11th. We can agree to disagree about my comment. I had the courage to call and inquire and express my opinion to a supervisor.

I am so sorry that you feel that I am mental. Do you have a degree that qualifies you to diagnose me as a mental case? Yes, I do have a 38mm which people here tell me it looks horrible. So I want to see if the 42mm looks better. I may not in your opinion have reason to complain, but people in this thread ordered the leather loop configuration and Apple hasn't shipped any of them.
 
All my pending CC transactions are visible today. I know for a fact that Apple has not charged me for anything except the charger, neither did they block any amount for AppleCare or the Watch.

I know it's probably stupid, but I still might consider cancelling my order Monday evening.

They sell three $350 Sport models for the price of one of my orders and they do not care. Number of units and customers satisfied is what they are after.

Understandable, but I'm angry anyways.

I didn't, and never would, call you mental.

I think the situation is mental. That you complained and got compensated for something that you were never promised.

Don't take things so personally.
 
I am hoping I am very wrong but my gut feeling is we won't see any movement until the middle of next week at the earliest.

My gut feeling is they all actually shipped for delivery on April 24th, and we're wearing them right now! How did we not notice?
 
Ordered it about 12:01 PDT on Preorder Day (had it ready before preorders started, just had to do check out hence the 1 minute delay), shipping date is already May 14 - May 27 back then. Been checking ever since, I am extremely annoyed that people who are slated to receive their non-leather-loop watches are getting theirs months ahead of time. Meanwhile here we are waiting for ours like nothing's happening.

Still stuck at processing items, constantly checking every 20 mins. Here's to hoping it would start moving tonight.

On a side note, reading over Twitter, saw someone with a leather loop got charged, then apple reversed it and cancelled the charge on the person's credit card. Also saw 2 people got their leather loop watches shipped already (brown leather loops).
