So I just ordered the 42mm blue leather loop, and from reading this. It looks like I will be waiting a long time to get it.

notice that the Leather Loop has a polished Stainless ring at the bottom of the strap. Overall, though, I think this looks really good. The color of the Space Grey seems on the blue-ish side. This is indoor lighting at the Apple Store, so outdoors may be different. my wrist is 170mm around. :apple:

lucky guy got his...

Also waiting on a SS BLL Large

Hey guys, i have been following and have not posted yet.
I ordered the SS Black Leather Loop at 8:16 BST on April 10th. I am on the 12th - 26th May window.
I was online at 8:03 however the watch was on the 4-6 Weeks when the page went live in the U.K so i had a look around for anything with quicker shipping, hence the 13 minute delay.
Hope we all get them soon!

It would be awesome if it would come on the 8th since i am away for a week. I have been told that the date provided includes 3Days Standard Shipping but the watches are on next day so you should get them quicker than the date.

Same! I just hope one ships somewhere in the world then the floodgates might open!

Why do people expect movement on a watch scheduled for mid May at the earliest?

Because other Apple Watches, that had a similar delivery schedule, has been shipped early.

And it's fun.

I often ask myself this question to try and put a stop to checking my order on a daily basis. So that I may even relieve my brain from continually checking this and numerous other Apple Watch threads in this forum. To finally put an end to the daily disappointment from the lack of developments. But alas I do none of those things as I continually resort to answering the question in the manner jabingla did.

Godspeed fellow Leather Loopers.

I do the same thing. I keep trying to tell myself that my phone will alert me when the watch is preparing to ship, so stop checking. But alas, I check about every hour.

Just tired...

So my orders were places at 12:03am on the 10th....1st pre-order ever and last. When I received my iphone 4 I waited 12 hours with fellow Apple fans and it was such a good experience at Fashion Valley in San Diego....I got my phone and it was a great experience. Even though I was mocked I still got my phone.

Now fast forward to the apple watch launch and waiting and waiting....I know my time frame hasn't passed (apple protected themselves) but seeing other folks get their order is frustrating. Like most of us here I want what I ordered. I know the supply demand varies but why can't apple notify those waiting as a courtesy with a status update? I don't want another configuration I want my 42MM SS Black Leather Loop....I also ordered a Sports Band and accordingly to my Deliveries App, I'm supposed to receive that today, but I haven't been charged for either product. I don't want anything, or need a gift card I just want a status update to keep me waiting with a smile.

I just hope this watch isn't a let down, seeing commercials and reading how to do this or is your 42MM SS heavy makes me even more frustrated.....sorry but that's my story, Bro

One interesting point. All this talk about under-promising and over-delivering: As the first batch of deliveries were promised from 4-6 weeks and we are now at 3 weeks, there isn't much time left for Apple to over-deliver!

I think Apple is basing their time frame of April 24th not the pre-sale date of April 10...if you figure 4-6 weeks it's from the 24th not the 10th

Fortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. With my order of 4-6 weeks, I've been given a date of 12th-26th May, which is actually 4.5-6.5 weeks, but that's another matter. Hence it seems to be from the date of the order, ie 10th April in most cases.

Really? They have 12 days to deliver before May 13th (first quoted date) and 26 days to deliver before May 27th (last quoted date)

Since they are doing next day air on these, they don't have to prepare for shipment for another 11 days yet....

And their comment to deliver early was never a promise.

I don't understand some people not understanding basic dates, grammar, language, whatever you want to call it.

Yes, I hope I get my watch ASAP, but I know it isn't due until at least May 13th, so I am just waiting, and waiting :)

Has Apple ever missed a promised deliver window?

Has Apple ever missed, or been in the habit of missing, promised deliver windows? I'm just hoping my SS with Leather Loop band comes within the promised window of May 13 to May 27.

Actually, according to Apple staff, the 0.5 week is the quoting time for the watch to leave the factory to reach you.
But if the shipping is fast, usually it takes around 24-48 hours.

We should take bets on when the first leather loop will change to preparing for shipment

I've seen at least one Leather Loop watch shipped on Twitter, with another guy showing off his Leather Loop band today (don't know if he ordered it separately or not).

FYI - the guy who has his in hand ordered at xx:03am and it shipped on 4/26 at 4:00PM eastern time.

So, there are some out in the wild, but it's REALLY rare.

(I'm a 42mm Blue LL orderer at xx:20 with a 5/13-5/27 delivery window.)

Charged....

Has anyone been charged yet? Partial or full? Just curious cause I haven't

Anybody else worried that all 42mm ordered today have slipped to July?

I'm not. Just means that Apple has filled up their orders they know they can fulfill between now and June.

It actually gives me hope cause it seems they're confident they can fulfill the orders in the delivery windows they've already promised. Thus, when they're full up in June orders, they tell people they'll have to wait longer.
