Was gonna say the same thing, but didn't.

I've been very patient through this whole thing. I agreed to the window when I placed my order, but I will not be trolled by people who already have watches talking about how they are asking for updates from apple about their extra band.

Mabye this thread should have been titled, "people waiting on a watch because they were unfortunate enough to order a leather loop" ... Too long?

Exactly! He's not the only one that's come to this thread and complained, then to find out they already got one Watch.

As a current Apple Watch possessor, and leather loop orderer, I couldn't agree more. It's very different waiting for the watch than it is waiting for just a better strap. I feel for you guys.

That said, all the people who call Apple kind of bother me. If you haven't even reached the end of your shipping window yet, you really shouldn't be calling up and harassing the reps.

I'm still at processing with April 29 to May 12 as my window. I wouldn't dream of calling Apple about my strap. The same would go for if I was waiting for my watch. I hope my leather loop ships the same day as all of you guys still waiting for the watch itself.

I can't believe people who ordered leather loops as an accessory are harassing apple reps and coming into this thread to update us on the status of their extra watch band. Jesus Christ.

Who said anything about harassment?

You're cool, can we be friends?

who said anything about complaining?! Holy crap y'all need to take a Xanax. I'm perfectly content with waiting for the leather loop. lots of bitter bitches in here without their Apple Watches I guess.

1) Yes, because you have a watch and can wait for a premium band.

2) No, I don't believe that for a spli second, if this would be your launch-day order.

I like you. I haven't yet harassed an apple rep about my order status. Wouldn't dream of it. It sucks that it hasn't shipped yet, but I am fine with it. I agreed to that when I placed the order.

I think its funny that no one here thought to order the Apple Watch with a sport band that had a better availability and then order the Leather Loop separate. No one to be upset with but yourself.

I've had my watch since April 24th, 8:45 in the morning.

Who said anything about harassment?

He simply stated he ordered the band only and the thread is about "leather loop orders"? The ones doing the harassing are the people who are angry they are being held to the longer delivery date they agreed to.

I agree it's worse to be stuck waiting for the watch compared to the band but that's why many people ordered them separately. You could've done the same if you didn't want to wait out the shipping delay. Everyone is looking to see their orders fulfilled. Why not work together in seeing if the watch or band combos move instead of attacking each other? Good luck to everyone

Couldn't agree more, but still post here? I'm confused.

Thought of it unti realizing regular warranty and/or AppleCare will only cover the band shipped with the watch.

My opinion, order with leather loop, the more expensive band is covered. Much easier to replace a $49 sport band over a $149 leather loop. :)

There was no substantiated reason to believe any band would be more or less available than any other. Apple did not say that there would be different availability, so there was no logical reason to suspect this would be an issue. Anyone who says differently made a decision based on pure speculation, even if it ended up being correct.

Another perfectly justifiable speculation would have been that Apple could have made more premium bands for SS watches as they are a more premium model. Therefore, there could have been more leather loops than sport. That speculation would have been ended up being wrong, but just as logical and understandable as the reverse.

May be a little off topic, but since we're all here waiting for some type of leather loop....

I have a question about the color of the "bright blue".. Those that saw it in person, is it the same blue as the iPhone 6/6+ leather case?

Looks much lighter, hence the bright... But pictures can be so deceiving.

I was told that Apple Care only covers the watch, not the band.

Apple hardware coverage
AppleCare+ provides repair or replacement coverage, both parts and labor, from Apple‑authorized technicians. Service coverage includes the following:

Your Apple Watch
Battery1
For Apple Watch and Apple Watch Sport, included magnetic charging cable and power adapter. For Apple Watch Edition, included magnetic charging cable, power adapter, charging case, and USB cable.
Coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling of your Apple Watch, each subject to a service fee ($69 for Apple Watch Sport, $79 for Apple Watch, $1000 for Apple Watch Edition) plus applicable tax.

I found it pretty dark actually. More navy. Really nice looking though for sure.

I had every intention pre-ordering the SS with the Blue Leather Loop and that's it, but when I saw the shipping times, I did the SS with WSB and got it the morning of the 24th. I understand the whole Apple Care thing though.

Well people who ordered a leather loop watch from the start, pack it in. People with watches have taken over and got hurt that we told them to go away. The rich get richer I suppose.

It looks incredible in person. I too was skeptical but I'm glad I went in person. I love how it looks. I have a feeling you will too (assuming you ordered that one)

Not everyone just yet - I do not have a watch. My blue leather loop watch is still Processing with the 5/13-5/27 delivery window.

Someone posted chat screenshot asking about band swap through Apple, wanting to confirm that the swapped band will be the one covered by the warranty.

That person has it in writing, would take that over something they "told" me.

Well that someone worked at the Apple store lol. The data on the website also lists pretty specific parts for each model and all neglected to include the band. Take it with what you will
