I'm 12th too. Not long now!

I think the waiting has made me go a bit obsessively insane - I have waited for iPhones and iPad and Mac in the past but this Watch waiting has literally taken over my life haha

if you become too obsessive about it you will likely be disappointed once you get it since its not all its cracked up to be. That's how I felt when I got mine before sending it back.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion I suppose! Hopefully I won't be disappointed having already tried mine on in store and I even loved it with the demo software.

Did you have a try-on appointment before you bought yours? At least there's the option of the handy 14-day return period.

For me, I'm obsessively excited about the most minor of features. From the get-go, I wasn't really drawn to the big features that Apple touted. It's the little things, like covering the watch face to silence calls, to controlling my apple tv, to setting timers from my wrist, that I'm most excited about.

So, I can be as obsessive as I want, because I know the watch is going to deliver the things I'm looking for.

Now... if the darn thing would just ship :D

So you are still in this thread because you have another leather loop order you are waiting on?
 
Shipment notification email

I just got a shipment notification from Apple, got all excited...

Forgot that I ordered a spare charging cable this morning, lol

I get your pain... Early this morning, I woke up to an email that my leather loop watch had been delayed for over 100 days, and therefore my order had been cancelled... I went online and found others in the same boat and it was excruciating.

... and then I woke up from that nightmare.

So, I immediately checked my order status at 5:45am and everything was the same as when I had fallen asleep, no problems... My worries were satiated. Satisfied, I went back to sleep.

Then what felt like just a few minutes later, I wake up to see the notification that my order had shipped. The watch is in Louisville and will be delivered tomorrow! I almost jumped out of bed... but instead... I woke up from this second dream.

TL;DR: Nothing at all happened to my order in the least last night, despite my brain's best attempts to subconsciously will something into existence. Lesson: Don't read this forum in bed immediately before going to sleep.

I...sadly...have similar dreams. I also have the same order as you, however mine was at xx:13....it will be interesting to see if I go before you, or if we are all lumped into a big group together
 
Dear Apple,

Tomorrow is the day of celebration known as Cinco de Mayo. Please allow all of the lovely people in this thread who are waiting for their SS Apple watches with leather loops to celebrate a little harder, knowing that the watches have departed and will arrive at their doorsteps sometime in the next few days.

I honestly just want to see them start moving... I've stopped caring about my watch as much as the whole batch of leather loops. I'll be celebrating with you no matter when yours ships.

That being said... I had an order for a SS 42mm blue LL at xx:08, but I chose to cancel and reorder a few minutes later so I could use a gift card on the website. If that makes me wait an entire week or something, I'm going to be sad, but I'll survive - haha.

That's pretty much how I feel. Its like standing in a very long line waiting for it to start moving.
 
My pending charge was just lifted :(

I assumed that as the charge was pending that it meant my order was coming ASAP but I guess not. They just returned the £599 to my card it seems.

Bit more waiting then...
 
Given that there isn't even a trickle of these... I bet we all get them at once. On the 13th. The closer that day is getting the more I think it was an accurate estimate based on supply of the bands. Makes sense, just wish it wasn't so. Now that my hopes are low maybe they'll ship tomorrow.
 
This time next week, we'll be in the actual shipping window!

I still have hopes that this time next week, I'll be wearing my Apple Watch. :)
