The SS Apple Watch Leather Loop update thread

In all fairness my excitement got the best of me reading this email and I have a screaming 3 year old and 18 month old by me right this very moment. I have bad news folks. Here is the email:

Well rest assured you guys ordered the right band. The leather loop is incredibly comfortable. Much more comfortable than the classic buckle. I can barely tell the loop is on my wrist. Extremely well made.

It's a little more loose than the classic buckle, so it shifts around a bit more on the top of your wrist, but that is very minor.

I think everyone will be very happy with it once you get it on your wrist.

There wasn't a band that I wanted, though. I wanted a green sport band as well, which wasn't an option. So why would I spend extra money on a band I don't want to get another band I do want?

though super frustrated that my wife's 38mm SS milanese was delivered today, despite us ordering 2 weeks after mine. grrr!

There are so many people here that are very frustrated about their watch order, I don't think they will find it funny.

I will second this. Got my Leather Loop band this morning and replaced the Classic Buckle with it. It looks and feels a lot nicer! Anyone want a Classic Buckle? $120.

I think we all hate you too much right now.

FYI, on a side-note, I called Apple to ask them about a specific policy that might be relevant to some of us.

Basically, my extra Watch bands I ordered for me/the wifey have already shipped and will be here tomorrow. The 14-day return policy isn't potentially long enough since I don't have any Watches to try them on! The Apple rep notated my account to this effect, so it shouldn't be an issue for me to exchange/return the bands if we don't like them once we can actually try them out on an actual Watch!

So if you're in a similar situation waiting for your Leather Loop or whichever model Apple hasn't shipped yet - give Apple a call about the band 14-day return should you have extra bands that shipped or are in-hand already.

I've been very tempted to cancel the whole order out of frustration of seeing so many orders of different watch band combos going out... and now the leather loop bands... and I'm twiddling my thumbs over an order I made within a couple minutes of the store going live (email came in at XX:03am). This thread helps give me some hope though (or a shared venting place) and I'll probably hold out.
