The SS Apple Watch Leather Loop update thread

my Medium Black LL band only just went to PFS!

Sorry the rectangle I used at the top was a little too large. I ordered my Watch on April 10 at 12:07am PST. I had the sales rep add the leather loop to my original Watch order as a "band swap" on 5/1 around 530pm PST.

You guys need to relax... It was definitely funny.

We all want our watches bad but to call someone pathetic for making a joke about shipments? There are way worse things in life than not getting your watch in time!
 
My reaction was not at all related to wanting my watch. I'm enjoying the wait honestly. :)

If you read up a bit to the posts made previously to his joke, you'll see the lead up that caused my reaction.

But as I don't want to be a part of the problem, I'll edit my previous statement as it was more childish than I would like to act.

Here's to the fun of waiting with all my SS LL pals! :D
 
Weird. My replacement black leather loop "M" size just changed to preparing for shipment here in Japan. But the other watch that I ordered by mistake is still "processing goods" or whatever.

出荷準備中 = preparing to ship (but it was due on 05/25? what?)
出荷完了 = middle one arrived already on launch date.
処理中の商品 = processing (but it was due 05/10?)

So yeah I guess the band is coming a few weeks early but no idea when the watch is shipping out. No big, though, since that's for a friend... ha.

Am I right that there still is not a single LL Watch (that we know of) shipped or at least charged yet?

Correct. Well, there's one on Twitter in Canada who got his launch week somehow.

Until then we are still waiting. First wave of shipments is starting Tuesday (we hope!) but I think we can all agree that it's quite unfair that we have had to wait so long even with a preorder compared to others who are ordering other models later and getting them sooner.

We just have to be happy that we'll have a rare, premium Watch I guess.

still no movement on mine. but my wife really enjoyed her early mother's day gift from the girls... which was ordered 2 weeks after mine :mad:
 
Apple Online Chat Says "Leather Loop" Watches Won't Ship Until Next Week

Now, I should preface this by saying that I have talked to 3 separate online chat support people and all 3 have given me different answers.

From "I would expect you should see it earlier than expected"

to "Please expect your watch during it's shipment window"

and finally, today the gentlemen "Mike" said that the leather loop watches will definitely not ship until next week (My shipment window is May 13-27)

Take it for what it's worth...after a week of hell refreshing my apple store app about 100 times a day, I'm taking a break for the weekend and will join the madness again on Monday.

Have a great weekend all. Here's hoping I'm wrong :)

Apple employees are just as in the dark as we are, anything they say is pure speculation and nothing more. Even their executive management can't come up with a clear message.

I was talking with a support person over the phone trying to add Apple Care to my watch order (which can't be done until it has shipped BTW) and she offered some info on the status of my order and I didn't even ask her. She said I should expect my watch to be shipping very very soon, and that I should expect to have it by the end of next week. I want to believe her but the one thing she said that seemed off was that it would be coming from CA, has a single Apple Watch order come from CA?

my wife's came from CA. i think they're bulk shipping them into CA, then separating. i thought that's only usually a launch day thing for apple, but hers was ordered 2 weeks after launch date.
