Still processing. SS bright blue. Also, I have a BCB, BSB, and a blue sport in order from 4/24 (24/4#) - all processing.

Yay.
 
No news to share about my order, however I found a video on YouTube showing an u boxing of the blue leather loop.

It's a decent look at the band, but it's a god awful video.

The guy is matching the blue leather loop to the black Sports Watch, which doesn't look too good, and his screen protector doesn't help things. He also mumbles throughout, and likes to take things off camera quite a bit.

But it's worth a watch anyway.

Lol, I think we saw less watch / band and more nothing. Must have been his first unboxing video. hehehe

I ordered the sport after the "developer thread" claimed you could get one earlier if you had a dev account. That was on 4/24 evening. NBD, its for my wife and she is more patient than I... It is scheduled to come in the 2-3 week time frame (5/14 - 5/20). The black classic buckle was ordered on 4/28 and is coming 5/26 to 6/1.

I ordered the black classic buckle because I saw that you can take it apart and use regular watch bands. I still have about 20-30 nato watch straps left in old stock from the nano watch craze of 2010. I had a site up and running a few days after SJ made the watch comment at the keynote in Sept... I knew the apple watch was going to be a hit from that experience. You wouldn't believe how many watch bands I sold between September 2010 and Jan 2011. I had sales in 12 countries to individual customers and was selling watch bands in wholesale at as many as 5000 units. A company in Australia put in an order for 30,000 units in retail packaging that eventually fell through. It was really crazy for me. I had just graduated from college and started the watch strap business out of my apartment just to make some extra cash while I looked for a job....it was short lived but really exciting.... all so people could strap a iPod nano to their wrist with very limited functionality and very little fashion appeal. This is the reason why I am so patient with apple this time around... I don't think any of us have any idea how successful this watch will be. Im very interested to see what the sales numbers end up being. Im getting off topic but Ill post a photo of the watch bands and designs in retail packaging for the sake of nostalgia.

My Black sports band was ordered on 4/17 with an extra charger that I have since received. Thats not expected until the 26th also..

Well, it's been fun and frustrating but I finally cancelled. We've got some trips planned for the summer and the funds for the Watch literally paid for a side trip/flight from London, where we're visiting family, to Amsterdam with 3 nights at a five star hotel. I bet by the time I return, and if I've still got the money, they'll have sorted out their supply issues. So much for the impulse buy that is most of my Apple purchases. Good luck to all! They've gotta ship soon with all the leather loops (band only) out there....
