The SS Apple Watch Leather Loop update thread

So I have 12/6 - 26/6 and I have absolutely no confidence on anything happening today....or ever. ;) we live in hope. I would be happy if at least one person on this forum gets a preparing for shipping notice. Wonder who is going to be first.

No 'over delivery' possible for me now, as my dates are 12-26 May. Today was the last day that it could have been delivered ahead of schedule, yet nada.

I'm so thrilled for all the other customers who were 'over delivered', particularly those who got a month early. I'm doing cartwheels for them. Not bitter. Much.

Honestly, the Loopers, Linkers and Modern Bucklers have been in processing hell for a long time. Really hoped for a massive bulk of updates today....

It's early still here (UK).

C'mon Apple!

Yup. Right now is 8:34pm Monday May 11 in China, so whatever was leaving this morning has left and probably in US by now. Still no change on "Processing" for me since XX:07 Friday Apri 10 for a 42 SS SLL. Same as it was since at the start. I seriously can not imagine why would take 'so long' for these band+watch combos. If there was some problem, I would hope and expect Apple to be up front about it. It would now seem certain that not going to get delivery on May 13, but with seemingly all/many others arriving prior to their posted dates, I don't understand. They DID say 13-27 so they've not broken their word, and perhaps owe nothing of an explanation at this point, but still. I feel I want to just forget the whole thing and come back in 6 months when they've got it all sorted.

Totally know how you feel man, was so sure today things would start moving...was so sure

Nah don't cancel-even if it's the 27th, we will just have to summon up some superhuman patience as will be worth it in the end..
 
For me, the more time that passes the less I really care. In fact it has me questioning it at such a high price point now that the initial excitement has worn off. Is it possible to get buyers remorse before actually getting your item?:eek:

Yeah I'll admit same thing happens to me. It was same with my gold iPhone + had issues with my order being held up and was so irritated by the time I got it I wasn't even excited for it just glad the waiting was over.

Agreed. I've gone from wanting it so badly to, "is it really worth dropping $1,000 on this?"

Absolutely. Especially if I see that all the $350 Sport orders are being filled, I'm really wondering if the aluminum, sapphire and leather justifies the price.

It's the same watch for everyone, and i'm waiting so long to pay so much more.
In the meantime I got lots of ideas to spend that money ...

Mine is "processing" of course.

I know I would have felt better if the watch orders were shipped based on price with most premium first. I would feel like at least the extra money I was paying for the watch got me some exclusivity. Instead sport people have thier watches already and multiple bands and still we wait.
 
While we're all still waiting for any update on leather loop watches - has anyone in the UK had an extra band ship yet? How long did Syncreon take? My sport band shipped on Wednesday but doesn't seem to have shown up at my office yet - today is the "delivers on" date but normally things take significantly less than that. No tracking available, of course :confused:

I have thought the same thing especially with the pick-up in store button popping up on some Apple Stores (though not active). That would be the final insult.

At this rate I would not be at all surprised if in-store sales of all models and combos started, with actual product, *before* our LLs changed from "Processing". :confused:

If that happened I would cancel and call it a day. Not that it wold impact Apple in any way, but the dissatisfaction of they're handling of this whole thing is a bit much as it is. So I wouldn't get a watch, I'd have $700 more in my pocket and no buyers remorse. Win win.

I checked the status, went to bed. Wanted to get up and check again ....
At least there was hope when the bands shipped. But again ... no movement.

PS: Store Chat is not available to complain. I would really feel stupid to call, but it was a launch day order, damn.
