The SS Apple Watch Leather Loop update thread

Yeah the milanese loop would catch hairs if I was scratching my head or something and pull them out. Had that happen enough that I was like "forget it". To me it was too thin to be masculine, there were a few little quirks with it, and longterm I was also afraid it might scratch my MacBook.

No worries yet with the Leather Loop, though.

Yep, completely agree. Though, don't get me wrong, it's a fine band, just not an everyday band in my opinion. If I had more cash to burn it'd be perfect for more formal gatherings, but the leather loop seems to be a better everyday band that you could get away with in a formal setting.

Modern Buckle officially does not exist in any way, shape or form. No band-only shipments, no watches with the band. Nada.

Wife is very sad. She cries herself to sleep at night over it.

No, that's just me, crying over my leather loop. But, you get the idea.
 
1 UPS flight has arrived already in Louisville, 3 more will arrive within the next hour, 1 will arrive later on in the day. Hopefully they carry those filthy leather loops. :D

I think you didn't see the times were eastern :p The 3 flights all landed in the last 15 mins. There could be a wave of watch orders in the next hour or so/over night. Also, we're just tracking UPS flights so several of the planes could be non-Apple - we never know how big the shipment was until we start seeing who all had orders change status.

So far it's all just been a lot of hopes up and then letdowns :p But, maybe tonight will be different... please oh please be different.

Yeah that's how I felt. The milanese loop might look really nice with a nice suit and dress shirt, but for now I was just like "maybe leather loop". The leather loop was the band that I liked in-store initially. Not sure if the black is the best choice, but it matches the screen so maybe. It's kind of dark and plasticy though.

Woops. My bad. Maybe atleast 1 plane would be the Apple one considering a plane flew from Shenzen to Anchorage almost 8 hours ago.
 
First day of my delivery window and no watch. I ordered :27 so doubt I'm going to be in the first wave when they finally do.
Link Bracelets go up to :12 in the first wave which is pretty good. Going to be interesting to see what happens with us because even though we have 1 thread for the LL there is 8 different models based on colour and size.

Wonder which one is going to ship first....it better be Black Medium!

Here we go, today is the last day for Apple to ship for delivery on our ****ed up 4 week later "launch day"....do you think if we don't see a batched shipped for tomorrow that they will miss some of our windows? It looks like people for the launch day window got shipped notices 1-2 days before, with most the day before....and that's today for us. Thoughts?
 
Sigh. 6:30AM CDT. Still "Processing", same as it was 4/10 at XX:07. No charge, no change, no word.

Considering our delivery windows are 2 weeks wide, I don't think its time to panic about missing them yet.

Trust me, I'm not panicking....mine will be here next Tuesday-Friday because those are the days I absolutely cannot be home to get it and will have to have it held.

looks like the UPS77 has been historically very watch rich. there's currently one en route from china to anchorage. i imagine that lands later today, then they swap out to l'ville overnight, then lots will get charged sometime late tonight. hopefully lots of ours are on that plane :)

this is pure conjecture, of course. with our luck, they'll all arrive may 27 :mad:
