I had Verizon many years ago. Switched to AT&T after they got the first iPhone, and am finally switching back to Verizon with the iPhone 5.

It's gonna be nice to be home.

for those of you looking at att...The ATT website is up and running now, no more countdown, but no pre-order button for iPhone 5 just yet....

I don't know where to order from, apple or att. Any thought on which has the better chance of having the phone show up on my door come friday?

I'm still seeing the ATT countdown.

I know Apple tells FedEx to hold til the 21st, so you may have better luck ordering from your carrier if you want a chance at getting it a day early. I'm going with Apple simply because I like dealing with them better, and I'm flying on the 19th so I wont be around to get it on the 21st or earlier anyway.
