I think iPhone users will be split into two groups now.

iOS6 - those who want to get stuff done, simply, easily

iOS7 - people who want the "cutting edge" even if it sucks

Welcome to fragmentation

How about: People who want to have all the benefits of iOS 6 (fast, simple, easy) and wanna have the new UI, new icons, even faster phones and lots of new features, will gladly upgrade to iOS 7. The others, who like moaning and complaining for the sake of it, or those who wanna live in the past will stay on iOS 6. :)

It's ugly And I'm not the one saying it!

It does indeed look like Google is spreading the iOS 7 hate.

Whoa, wait.. wait.

You don't say.

People.... on the Internet.... complaining about stuff?

Hell, you could have done that simply by Googling "I hate the look of iOS 7" for 30 minutes. I've seen it done more than once.

Very interesting! So now the real question is, why doesn't the OP like the look of his labia? :D

----------

I tried the same on yahoo, but the only suggestion was... Yahoo!

It's like Yahoo! is the Bad Luck Brian of the Internet search engine world!

That sir is a question I'm in no position to answer.

Seriously though, you can manipulate google to move a search topic up the ladder...or at least you could a few years ago (Google may have changed things since I've seen it done). I had a friend who did this with his podcasts to improve the odds of having people stumble upon them while looking for something else.

Nick Carr wrote an article on this topic a few years back: "Is Google Making Us Stupid?" Excellent read!

That's a bit irrelevant since you know nobody is sitting there trying to manipulate Google into saying that iOS 7 is ugly. It shouldn't shock anyone that people could possibly, maybe find iOS 7 to be ugly, even if they don't share that opinion (I sure don't)

One could argue that it's doubtful there's that many people who hate the look of their labia. Therefore the number who hate iOS 7 is probably quite low.

Though I'm surprised enough people typed that for it to become a suggestion. Is hating the look of your labia a common problem? This disturbs me greatly on a fundamental level. I weep for society.

Yeah, all I can think is that perhaps they should get a healthier hobby than contorting in front of the bathroom mirror.

I like everything about iOS7 except for the icons and the colour palette of them.

Oh and the dock, I hate that dock it's so 2004 (MacOS X Tiger)

Has It ever occurred to you that what you may find it as ugly, to others is beauty? We are talking about something subjective here! While you and some others may love skeuomorphism UI desgins with the leather-stitched, green fields and all that, others may find it ugly and love something else. Just give it up already, the look of iOS 7 is here to stay for quite few versions until the next major redisign. You can hate it all you want, moan about it, or jump the ship.

Forgott you may be one of these who are not on the ship and like to troll on Macrumors.

Taking things very very seriously today, are we?

I'm not really sure. There's nothing wrong with not liking the theme or icon designs, but to the extent some people get upset amazes me.

'Cause we're used to beautiful design by Apple. Now why would we go Apple when it gets as ugly as android?

But isn't beauty in the eye of the beholder? Some people think the new design is beautiful, so therefore Apple hasn't let them or everyone down.

It just comes down to another cliché, you (Apple) cannot please everyone.

You have to use iOS7 to understand it's beauty and not just look for screenshot and instantly judge it's "ugliness" because after daily usage you start to get it and realize there's some depth and a reason why everything about it is the way it is.

This.

iOS 7 was shocking but, when they start to advertise it, you'll start to like it. It has a certain charm that will draw you to it.

There are 3 kinds of people

The ones who like the new ios 7 icons because they're new, those guys love new stuff.

The ones who like the new ios 7 icons because they love everything apple do. (whatever it is) They're fanboys, the ones who give apple bad rep.

The ones who don't like iOS 7 icons because they are ugly. Simply ugly.

So nobody really loves iOS 7 icons (in my opinion)

But you're right. Apple can't please everyone. I am let down, I had never been before. I had loved everything apple did with iOS until now.

I love the iOS 7 icons, genuinely. You have no idea what you're talking about.

I guess I don't fit into your categories. I like the new iOS 7 look because it looks nice. Not because Apple made it and not because its new. Just sayin' :)
