Great post!

Im looking for slim folio case and I end up with Shieldon for now.

I want nice slim profile folio case and i dont need 3 cards pocket or money pocket. I tried to google some old 6s plus and 6 plus folio case, ive seen some but non in amazon got good review.

What an awful post. (Clarification: your formatting and organization is very nice, but your content/recommendations are awful.)

Let me get this right, you say in your intro:

Yes 4 out of your 5 choices are cheap Chinese cases that don't even use real, genuine leather? All except the Shieldon use synthetic/PU materials and have loads of obviously paid for reviews.

What a joke.

I've got to agree with above, any REAL leather wallet case list should have Sena and Nomad on it. Those are 2 of the nicest looking leather cases I've seen. OP, what criteria did you use for your list?

My wife got the Maxboost case (in pink/teal color). It's fairly slim for a wallet case and it's one of few cases that covers top and bottom parts of the phone (so that they are not exposed in a purse).

aside from the cases in this advertisement - I mean thread- does anyone have any recommendations for some real high-end leather folios?

It's interesting that almost every thread on forums regarding "Top leather cases" are actually low budget cases. The OP should consider listing high quality cases too. But really.. How is a $60-100+ case too expensive? These phones cost over $600.

Kinda like how people scoff at the idea of spending a few bucks on an app when their phone costs $600-1000.

I do not care where they come from, I just collect sales rankings from Amazon.

Do you use a SHIELDON case? you haven't, but I do, after trying out many of cases, I am not exaggerating when I say that Shieldon is my favorite. I have a leather wallet case for the iPhone se from them, and I have used it ever since I got it, now I got another Shieldon case for my iPhone 7

I just received a Sena Wallet Book iPhone 7 plus case and it seems really nice. Definitely impressive looking.

I have been using wallet cases for years (since the i5) and if there's one thing I've learned it's that any of them under $30 are basically garbage. They may not seem like garbage at first but they'all get there after you use it for a couple of weeks.

I am not a fan of folio cases and avoid them like the plague. I dont feel like fussing with a flap when I'm using my phone or trying to take a picture. So I've stuck to slim rear card holders only.

I used to be a big fan of Hex and used their cases on my 5/5S/6+/6S+. While I loved the way they fit on the 5/5S I was never a fan of the design they use with 6/6S cases. They didn't evolve their design with the evolution of the iPhone. The case for the 6+/6S+ just never felt right and the card slots became way too loose way too quickly.

Halfway through my 6S+ cycle I switched out to a Sena leather case. It was decent and worked and fit well but felt like crap in my hand. I was happy that it covered the top of the phone and left the bottom bare but was not happy with covering the buttons.

For my 7+ I went with a Sena case again, the blue denim one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01L0QFHGE

This one feels great in my hand. Very comfortable to hold and the card slots are very snug and don't feel like they're going to have that give you get in a lot of other cases. The lip is also high enough that I can put a screen protector on and not scrape my thumb across it when side-swiping.

I'm still not a fan of the covered buttons. In fact, the first one I got the volume up button would not click and I needed to return it and get a replacement. The replacement is working great though.

I had ordered a couple of cheaper ones, like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01JMWRYNW

And while they "work" you can definitely feel that its nowhere near the quality when you're using it.

I have never heard of Sena before.
If you've never even heard of Sena then you have no business posting a thread about cases.
