Probably the best Top Gear ever made...

And, no, as an American I can tell you that their image of the rural deep south is not totally inaccurate...personally I would not, for any money, drive around in Alabama or Mississippi with a "Man Love Rules OK" Dodge Ram. You'd get shot or beaten. A backwards place, economically and otherwise...ask them about the Civil War, and they'll correct you by calling it the "War of Northern Aggression". No joke.

Not a flattering picture of the 'States though. New Orleans is probably easily the most dangerous city in the US right now. They obviously planned the route to emphasize our less-appetizing side.

I had to watch the repeat on Wednesday, because I was too busy getting some on Sunday to care.

But I thought it was crap. And set up. They're trying too hard to be funny.

Seems I'm in the minority though.

The part where the car salesman shows off his guns was a bit overdone...you could tell he was hamming it up from the camera.

I still thought it was very funny, but I have to admit now that I'm ready for them to go back to their usual haunt - too much USA bashing would get old quick with me...

I can guarantee the stone-throwing wasn't set up though - they're lucky that's all that happnened.

Man Love Rules was pretty brilliant of James :D

I'm just very tired if Jeremy always ranting on about americans being fat. The US is not the only country out there with a weight problem. Media don't help much though with their "OMG we've got a serious problem" coverage.

meh, I just take it on the chin myself. (I'm an American, I live in Outer London now) Just yesterday I ordered a large Mocha at a cafe and the guy halfheartedly asked if I wanted to "supersize it" I just said "if only..." It's just one of those things. Stereotypes. It's like the interpretation that all Brits are big tea drinking snobs. <...pause...> well it's generally untrue anyway. :p

like conan said, in the uk you can buy viagra over the counter, but toothpaste and toothbrushes are still illegal.

You lot ready for it again?

After the super episode of last week, it seems are 3 heroes are back to normal again. :D

Well... normal....

Are you in Wales?

I am watching BBC 2 in Holland (so that'll be BBC London I assume) and it is on @ 8 pm GMT (9 pm over here across the North Sea)

It is a shame that they never disconnected. I would have liked to have heard what NASA or whoever said when they wrote to them

I didnt know he was selling his GT for his Gallardo. I thought hed keep both. What a fool. I love both but the GT is so much more amazing.
