Lewis Hamilton, that little bastid.

Stupidly talented in his chosen discipline, not exactly butt fugly, already extremely rich and about to get much more so very quickly, and to boot, a black belt. Wanker :p

BMW are some clever fellas.

Great episode.

Yes. And to think a have to drag my worn out shell to work tomorrow. "Do your homework" they told me, "Finish your education and get a job". Well, I did get a job and look what it has brought me! An iMac! And I could have been The Stig. Now where is that bottle of cheap gin?

It was good to watch Richard Hammond trying to drive the Renault. That is one serious car. It is hard enough to start one on a simulator, something which took me a while to get used to, but when you know that the thing could kill you, and in all fairness he doesn't have a great record with fast cars! By the end he looked OK through that little right-left section.

Well, you could try and console yourself with the fact that he's also a midget. ;)

Hey guys I am in the states and absolutley love this show! By far my favorite television show ever, the only thing is it is so hard to catch on BBC america :( I wish they would play it more. However, I have it to record on my DVR at home!

I can't wait until porsche lets them test the GT2 ;)

Is it just me or was James Blunt a lot funnier than you imagine
His rant about getting to no. 1 on the most annoying things made me chuckle

He was quite annoying actually, as he is on stage... He tried to hard to be funny.

Lewis' lap was quite incredible, I didn't see that time coming at all! Makes me wonder how fast it'll be in the dry.
Once Hamilton has set the fastest lap of all time, all that remains is to put one other F1 driver in the car - Michael Schumacher! :D

I reckon he'll knock about a second off... 1:43.7 something around that figure... the track wasn't that wet, and certainly no where near the conditions that Webber did his lap in.

The Stig won't be able to match it, not necessarily because he's lacking in talent, more because he's carrying what looks to be a significant weight disadvantage over Hamilton. I suspect someone like Massa would be quicker still than Lewis.

That's the flaw with the 'Star In A Reasonably Priced Car' segment... something I wasn't aware of until Dallaglio's performance a couple of weeks ago.

He was, and so annoyed me even more!!
How dare he be funny!!

Still, it nowhere near makes up for his music. Oh and then the bastard goes and takes the piss out of his own songs!

Grrrrrrr....

^ *sniff sniff* the ape is gone. why, iGav, WHY?

:p

I loved the way Hamilton laughed "56 mph?!" ... no doubt that car felt pitiful. I'm slightly mortified he drives some big turd of an SUV thingy, although not surprised.

At least he doesn't drive the US "Green" car of the year. What a f**king joke that is!!!

He's far too busy living it up in this just recently completed £30m house in Switzerland with it's own private fuel reserves

I am bitterly disappointed in Hamilton driving a diesel Merc GL420 with, and I quote, "24 inch rims". tsk tsk.
