Just tried to get some tracking stuff from CPW for my iPhone order. They couldn't give me anything though and said they don't currently have any stock, it'll be coming in tomorrow morning and so the order hadn't gone through yet. She did say that it'd still be delivered tomorrow. :confused:

You can only use the "track my shipment" from the Apple site. The packages haven't been processed by UPS yet so they're not in there system. UPS allow Apple to designate UPS numbers, but until UPS collect these and scan them, they don't exist as far as UPS is concerned.
 
I just spoke to Vodafone again, he said there were definitely not going to be any pre-orders, so no chance of getting one delivered tomorrow or reserving one for pickup in a store. This contradicts what they said yesterday evening, that I would be able to pre-order once the system is up and arrange for delivery or collection on Thursday.

Arses and elbows spring to mind, 3 may have a new customer yet!
 
UPS tracking sucks. I wouldn't worry about it though because normally their service is excellent. I'm in France and my tracking number is still unrecognized.
 
Mine is being delivered by TNT, and this is what mine says…so I’m pretty sure it’s coming tomorrow.

It doesn't. It's the fact Apple have given you that information before UPS has had time to process it (because Apple know they've sent your iPhone on it's way). I bet later tonight or in the morning, the number will become active.

Why is everyone panicking so much?

That's a scan. It could have been scanned in Nuneaton, or that could just be a logical scan. Either way, it means it's in transit between hubs. It switches to Out for Delivery when it's on a van to your home.
 
ok so this is the tracking info for tnt, got to the us apple site and get the 9 digit number and put it in on international tracking on tnt and it works

as you can see i live in solihulll with is 28.9 miles away from the tnt hub

Yep, if yours says In Transit from Nuneaton or Warwickshire or wherever, Sorry to say you won't get it today but get it tomorrow.

Now off to get some BBQ supplies and enjoy the Football and Tennis :cool:
I suggest that everyone else does the same and stop worrying, oh unless your with UPS of course :D

oh and u'll still have to wait till tomorrow like the rest of us probs.
 
I don't think my UPS package has been collected from Apple yet despite me having received a dispatch email because payment has not been taken from my bank account yet.

True :) Looks like I'll be fine for delivery tomorrow then. At least we can track them now! (No help from Apple or TNT) But thanks to the guy who found out! :D
