i only see the one coming from the proper facility - are there more that i am just not seeing?

I have only seen the one originating from Shenzhen today. It does appear to be headed to Ontario, California from Anchorage so you can interpret that however you will.

Any guess on what's the route a watch heading to Europe does? Does it start also from China to US?

I honestly don't have any idea but I would guess no. These are specifically UPS planes flying to the U.S. and I don't have any information as to what companies are shipping to other parts of the world. It would make sense for those shipments to take a more direct route.

Anyone care to speculate why we're only seeing three planes to Louisville tonight, after having six flights every night since launch? And last night we had zero. I wonder why we're seeing only half the typical (so far) amount of flights tonight?

Pure speculation here: Seeing as the second big delivery window is coming up, the factories might be switching to other watch/band combinations, which could slow production/shipments during the interim??? Maybe? The Leather Loops and Modern Buckles need to start heading out soon.

(This is also coming from a guy who ordered the Leather Loop... who might just be painfully hoping.)

Our pain is a shared one brother, the loop section of the factory has a sign above the door that says "abandon all hope ye who enter here"....which is good because the factory workers can't read English....and as it turns out that section is actually the break room....

Boom! More incoming flights. Hopefully, this has the early 6s on them.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, (May 1-3), in China were celebrated as Labour Day Holidays. There may have been an actual, observed holiday and a work slow down or stoppage may have occurred last weekend. This may be one explanation of why we're seeing less flights from Shenzhen to Anchorage and then the connecting flights onward, outbound from Anchorage.

This is just speculation on my part. I don't know anyone who is working in Apple's contract manufacturer's factory in China.

I believe mine is flying now to KY from ONT (ca). Recently scanned in Ontario and found a ups flight about 10 min from liftoff to KY.
Not sure how it got to CA in the first place.

The one flight that originated in Shenzhen Monday morning went to anchorage and then to Ontario.

There is a flight getting ready to land in Louisville in the next few minutes but it originated in Shanghai, not Shenzhen.

Five planes en route to Anchorage, currently over Japan, but only one originating from Shenzhen, China.

Not sure what to make in the drop in air traffic since last week...

looks like the shenzhen airport is experiencing departure and landing delays of over an hour! Maybe this is part of the problem doubt it but who knows!

Still only the single flight from Shenzhen that I am seeing so far today.

But on a more personal note, Hooray!

Have we been able to correlate when people are getting credit card charges and switch to prepare to shipping?

Are we being charged before the planes leave China, or after they arrive in Alaska or Louisville/Ontario?

Before they leave China is what I read on reddit.com/r/applewatch

I got my shipment notification on Sunday (preparing to ship on Saturday) and the origination when I finally could see it in UPS was Ontario, CA (Rialto). It was picked up there late last night, sent to KY, and I have my 38 ss ML today.

This is different than my previous iPhones where the origination was China.
