I just got charged for my wife's 38mm SS WSB that was ordered on 4/29! Just in time for Mother's Day!
I believe they only affect the us.... I am not sure of the logistics of the uk orders.

On the delivery truck!
-Ordered 42mm stainless steel, white sport band on April 10th at 7:30am.
-Card charged around 1am May 6th, preparing for shipment.
-Changed to Shipped around 6pm May 6th.
-Origin scan 1:02am, fly to Poughkeepsie and arrive 6:35am May 7th.
-On delivery truck for estimated delivery at my house in Connecticut 1:45pm to 5:45pm.

To be quite honest I have no idea how the shipping thing works. I am just holding onto any glimmer of hope at this point. All I know is a plan landed about an hour ago in Louisville.
Think I found the flight my band is on.
UPS 63, departed Hong Kong at 7:32 local time. Same as the departure scan on my UPS tracking.

This is the "old" tracking history we usually see for iphone/ipad shipments. They always showed the origin scan in China. All watches have an origin scan in the US, which made it seem like they were bulk shipped from China and then upon arrival in the US they were labeled for individual orders. Considering the demand they may have changed their ways and started labeling in China again?! Maybe it is just for bands....
I'm aware. My watch originated in Louisville when it shipped to me and i've had phones come the China route in the past.
Thought it was interesting my band is coming direct from China, makes it more fun to follow it

Yup. That's what I am hoping.....
Sorry if this is a dumb questions, but are there regular Apple UPS flights each day to Loiusville or only select days of the week?
There are regularly scheduled UPS flights every day on those routes.
The assumptions are:
1. That they are all Apple Products.
2. That the products are mainly watches.
So my order switched to "Preparing for shipment" late last night (5/6). Credit card was also charged. Apple didn't update the status to "Shipped" until 2pm today (5/7). I have the tracking number, but it's not showing up on UPS's site. The email we received from Apple said "Delivery by 5/8".
I would like to be able to tell them to just hold the watch at the CC and we'll pick it up tomorrow morning. I called UPS...they don't have any record of the tracking number either.
Any idea where it is at this point in the travel process and when the tracking system will show my package?

UPDATE: Just got the text from UPS. Shipping from Rialto, CA. Changed it to pick up for tomorrow. Woohoo!

It seems there are trucks crossing the border from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, then cargo flight from Hong Kong to the U.S.
Well if it isn't already in country your missing your 5/8 date, and it's not 5/13 yet so what's in them? I know for sure its not my SS 42mm blue leather loop.....because they are made from unicorns that live on the moon and the Apple rocket ship hasn't come back with the hide yet...come to think of it, somebody should check on those guys.....
