I have the same problem. I called FedEx and they told me that Verizon has a restriction in place. All deliveries must be attempted one time at the delivery address before a package can be diverted or picked up at a FedEx center.

She did say that if you're not home a note can be left on the door with your name and signature authorizing the package to be left on the porch.

I have 3 iPhone X all being delivered on Friday.

Too bad our phone didn’t ship UPS. Don’t think they have this restriction in place.

My phone finally shipped! I had the CC fraud issue through my bank and had to talk to Verizon CORE late Saturday night and get them to re run the payment. Then was told the next day by another representative my phone appears it'll ship the 3rd vs arrive the 3rd which had me worried. But now its on track to arrive by 3:00 PM 11/3.

I have 2 separate orders, but both show the same tracking number. It seems a little odd because the screenshots I’ve seen from people with multiple orders seem to be split into separate shipments.

I ordered my wife’s phone first and 11:55 and got mine through at 12:00. Two separate orders listed on Verizon and two separate charges on my CC, but both show the same fedex tracking #.

Does anyone else with multiple orders have only one shipment/tracking #?

I'm in the same boat as many on here. The Order Confirmation email gives a "Deliver By: 11/03/2017". However I haven't been charged or seen anything else from Verizon.

To be honest, I'm not in any big rush but I was wondering about the timing of the Order Confirmation email. I received it at 1:41 MST (PST + 1), but I put in the order at 1:06 MST.

My assumption is that it took that long because I was crest of people trying to order one, but could that be the reason why so many other people who ordered just a few minutes before me received the email within 5-10 minutes?

The reason I ask is I'm beginning to think that the time stamp on my email is more important that when I actually ordered the phone. Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Gotcha. Hopefully there’s no issue and I’m just waiting then. Thanks!
Got a text message from Chase "This is Chase fraud. We declined VZWRLSS for the card ending ****. Was this you reply YES or NO"

I replied YES and it said "Thanks. Transaction not completed. Have the merchant reprocess the transaction" Then I called Verizon.

The declined charge did not show up anywhere on my account. Only after the Verizon agent redid the charge is when it showed up on my Chase.com account.

Its been a roller coaster for me getting this phone thus far:

-XX:00AM Verizon app locked up numerous times, was unable to order via app. Almost gave up

-XX:06AM Tried on Verizon.com desktop with little hope of an 11/3 delivery....yay it worked! (Processed at XX:09)

- (In the rush of ordering, I selected the wrong saved credit card unbeknownst to me yet at the time)

- Received an email following day from Verizon's Fraud dept to call (almost said screw it and gave up since I was busy but called anyways. Just wanted to verify the order was really me)

- 10/29 received an email saying insufficient funds from credit card used since I did used a closed account accidentally. Now I'm worried even if i retry a new card, it'll redo my order and I'll lose my 11/3 delivery date

- 10/30 updated credit card info anyways with current card. From what I see on Verizon's site, I still have my 11/3 date

- 10/30 Still no movement from Processing nor can I search on UPS using a reference number.... Still the same as it has been since last Friday.

Bleh. Fingers crossed for a Friday delivery after all these hiccups
Would highly suggest you call them to verify the status. I didn't get any kind of notification when my CC was originally flagged as fraud.

Still waiting on both the charges to to hit my account and shipping info. Pre-ordered at 3:15 am - said ship date is 11/3... And still crickets..

Also from Boston and waiting on charges and shipping. My guess is that whatever distribution center we're receiving from is close to us so we're being pushed until the later shipments.

I'm in RI and got my 256/SG/X order placed at 2:58am. Charged and shipped on Friday. Phone is sitting in Memphis. My location code from the confirmation email was in CT. Dunno if that helps you at all.

Ugh, still processing on site and pending on app, received trade in box today though. 256gb Space Gray Washington state.

Location code X473601

I saw somewhere in the thread and now I can't find it, the dimension of the box it may/will come in. I wonder if I can crack my garage door enough for the box to fit in, and ask the FedEx drive to slide it into the garage if I decide to leave a note instructing the driver to leave the package in a safe area (inside the garage).
You would have to print out the “shippment release authorization form” from fedex. Sign it and post on your front door. Otherwise they won’t leave it.

Anyone in IL had their card charged and/or phone shipped yet? Starting to wondering if it's a distribution/hub area thing.

I'm so glad FedEx clarified that the shipment will arrive before 3 PM so I am not waiting around all day.

I called them and also checked the status. So far so good. Even with using a declined card since I used the wrong one and updated today. Still saying 11/3 delivery.

I think I’m in the clear. Won’t be satisfied or have my anxiety relieved until the box is in my hands Friday afternoon lol.

So, I was browsing through Apples cases.
Earlier last week the site said my local store would receive cases for this X this Wednesday 11/3.
So I never ordered cases in advance because I thought that I could get them on Friday. But apparently they changed it so my local store gets cases 11/15. So, I ordered cases right after I realized that to be delivered to my house 11/3.
However, I checked and they have screen protectors at my local store for the X. I think its weird that they have screen protectors but not cases.
So I ordered an in-store pickup for the screen protector. I'm super clumsy so as soon as I get the phone delivered Friday I'm going to the Apple Store and having them put on my screen protector (I'm horrible at putting them on).
Super excited and nervous. But also glad I checked Apples site because they changed dates for their case availability.

Nope. Northwest Indiana here 45 mins from Chicago. Still nothing. Like I told someone else, last year I had no movement or anything until the day prior but got it on launch day still.

I pre-ordered through Verizon at 3:03 am on the 27th. Apparently, the bank flagged the payment for the taxes as fraud as others have experienced. When I called to get this fixed, Verizon said they would rerun the card and I’d be all set. Well, unbeknownst to me, they cancelled my original preorder and reordered the phone to run the payment. This gave me dec. 1st shipping date . Once I saw what happened, I called back and Verizon said there wasn’t much they could do. After pleading my case, they said they would contact shipping dep and put in an expedited shipping request, would would according to them, put me back in the nov 3 timeframe. Has anyone had this happen before or heard of a way of getting the situation rectified? Thanks!

I had something similar to this happen, the credit card I used to pay for my wife and I's X's got used to attempt a $3400 ebay purchase. Needless to say the bank shut my cards down. Called Verizon adn they couldn't change the payment info. They did new orders and turned in requests to jump the line to get me back to a nov 3 delivery date. I'm still waiting to see if they are approved or not. Keep me in the loop if you have any luck, I'll do the same. Started out as the smoothest pre-order ever and turn to complete terrible with the snap of a finger.

If you got the Belkin screen protector for Apple to put on, make sure to read the reviews of the screen protector on the Apple site. Most of the people have said that the protector cracks very quickly, while others have stated that the screen protector cracked their iPhone screen. If this is true, it may due to the machine that they use to put the screen protector on, or employee error with the machine etc.
