Guys, my order has shipped and I can track it on FedEx. However, I noticed "Customize Delivery" is grayed out. Is this something that will be available when the order reaches the destination FedEx facility? I'm wondering how I can have FedEx hold my order for pick up..
 
Still waiting for my silver 256 to go to processing. As you can see my brother space grey 256 has already shipped and we only ordered a few minutes apart. 2:56est order time

I ordered three phones, starting around 1:56 a.m. (CST) via the Verizon app.

My mom's iPhone X 64 gig silver 'shipped' yesterday.

My iPhone X 256 gig silver 'shipped' last night.

My husband's iPhone X 64 gig silver is still 'processing.'

Obviously, I ordered my own phone first. I ordered my mom's second. And I ordered my husband's last. (Don't tell him that. And let's not tell either of them that I ordered them the 64 gig model while splurging on myself for the higher capacity.)

EDIT: And for what it's worth, all three were 'new device agreement' orders. We'd previously paid off our other phones.

Update - All three phones I ordered above have shipped and I received three 'shipped' e-mails from Verizon with tracking numbers. All are set to deliver on Friday.
 
I called them again and told them the same thing you did in your previous post but was told that as of this previous weekend, Verizon will have to cancel and replace your order if you need to change the delivery address. I was instructed to call FedEx to see if they can change the delivery address instead.

Wow :O Since I had my tracking number, I called and they handled it just fine for me! They can't change it during it's pre order status because then they would need to cancel and re pre order.
 
I feel like your chances of getting moved up a week or so from that are pretty good. Your chances of moving up to launch day delivery are pretty much 0% (though I won't say no chance as there is always a chance). I have 11/10 delivery and am holding out hope for launch day, but very little hope.

Yours probably wont budge, at least not for a bit. Us with 11/10 delivery have yet to see a budge and we would be the first to see it.
I am 11/10 as well. ugh

My early upgrade fee and taxes for the phone have been charged. I ordered at 1:58 central. Is it safe to assume my phone will change from processing to shipped soon?

Its been a roller coaster for me getting this phone thus far:

-XX:00AM Verizon app locked up numerous times, was unable to order via app. Almost gave up

-XX:06AM Tried on Verizon.com desktop with little hope of an 11/3 delivery....yay it worked! (Processed at XX:09)

- (In the rush of ordering, I selected the wrong saved credit card unbeknownst to me yet at the time)

- Received an email following day from Verizon's Fraud dept to call (almost said screw it and gave up since I was busy but called anyways. Just wanted to verify the order was really me)

- 10/29 received an email saying insufficient funds from credit card used since I did used a closed account accidentally. Now I'm worried even if i retry a new card, it'll redo my order and I'll lose my 11/3 delivery date

- 10/30 updated credit card info anyways with current card. From what I see on Verizon's site, I still have my 11/3 date

- 10/30 Still no movement from Processing nor can I search on UPS using a reference number.... Still the same as it has been since last Friday.

Bleh. Fingers crossed for a Friday delivery after all these hiccups
 
Verizon’s process seems to go:
1. Processing. They got your order and will process it soon.
2. Pending. They have processed the order and have requested payment from your Credit or debit card.
3. Processing. Payment has been received and they sent to warehouse and are getting ready to assign a shipping label.
4. Order “ships”. Label and tracking are assigned and the order is complete.

Hope this helps to figure out where in the process you are.

I have the same problem. I called FedEx and they told me that Verizon has a restriction in place. All deliveries must be attempted one time at the delivery address before a package can be diverted or picked up at a FedEx center.

She did say that if you're not home a note can be left on the door with your name and signature authorizing the package to be left on the porch.

I have 3 iPhone X all being delivered on Friday.

From what I gather, they ship with fedex. Both of mine are coming by fedex and same last year.
 
Hey, that’s better than a December date like some users around here. I’m 11/15. I’m betting on a bump up to 11/10 delivery though.
Seems I'm the only Silver 256GB with a 11/15 date round here. I agree with you, I'd just like to squeeze in with the 11/10 crowd. Something in my gut says I will at least get it by then and my gut has never failed me! Lol. Seems like the people first in line in each date group should get lumped in to the previous. Like first 11/10 people may get 11/3 and so on.
 
On a separate note, does anyone know if you need to activate on line ordered, or can i use a sim from one of the other lines on my acct.
 
Mine finally went from pending to processing! Yay! Hoping for shipped tonight or tomorrow.

It should come with a sim in it already. Just turn on the phone and the new sim should activate with your number
 
I was late to the ordering party. Ordered around 9:45 a.m. local time and got the 12/1 ship date. My order currently says Pending. I'm hoping by some miracle I'll get it a few weeks early.
