Anyone have any luck with changing your delivery address? I forgot/couldn't change the delivery address when I was checking out during preorder. Not the end of the world since it's going to my parents, but since they're a few states away I'd rather it have come to me so they don't have to ship it.
I called a Verizon rep yesterday and he said he put in a warehouse order to change the address, but I chatted with another rep today to confirm and she said nothing was changed/the guy yesterday probably didn't realize it wasn't possible.
So, just checking in to see if anyone else has tried to do something similar and had any luck?
I had the exact same problem as you.... I recently moved and so my shipping address was different than my billing address. However, at checkout, there was no option to change the shipping address since it was sort of grayed out. I called Verizon as well and they told me to call them to get it changed as soon as I got a shipping confirmation number.
I called them two days ago once I got that shipping number and they put in something called a ticket request to change it in their systems. He also gave me a reference number for the ticket, so when you do that make sure to ask for the reference number. To be safe, I called again the next day to make sure it was completed and the rep was able to look up the ticket reference number and verify the new address. She said it looked good to go on their end and that the info would be relayed to FedEx. I’m just crossing my fingers now that their system works and that I actually still get it on 11/3 and it’s not sent to my old address!
They are definitely able to change the address so just make sure that ask for a confirmation number and I’d recommend calling again later just to be safe that the ticket number is real and in their systems! Hope this helps and good luck!!
